in the profile edit page it says you can have a pic that is 305x505 that one is 305x400

Good grief, man.
Scale the haloman and adjust the contrast on one of images so it looks like he's stepping out of the vehicle, behind the door.... especially if the original image gives you a little more of that limb on our right to work with (though you could hid it behind the door)
Point being, then you could crop the pic signifigantly vertically.

You got that backwards I think. It's 305x505, 505 being the LENGTH. THAT image is 400 pixels high. Too big.

Crap... I was mocking up a new version, replete with flaming tracks and colored reflection of such in the car and soldierman, and Photoshop puked and died. Sorry,

It was stupid anyway, since the intial mockup was a quick and squirrely cut and paste hack of murcie's, but then I started to get carried away with the background. I would have had to repaint the car and man to match, and then what the hell is the point?
I should make myself one of those things one of these days.

How is it? Too damn big. It doesn't matter if you're allowed to have one that size - it takes up half of my screen (800x600), and that's too much.
At the very least, make it a lot smaller. Much, much smaller.
