ok fellas, i called them, they have a working number so i guess it could be a legit site. gave me a semi legit excuse too.

so he told me that capcom or the supplier promised a specific amount of copies and they went to that limit so they disabled the ordering website for re5. then he told me that they have to get in touch with their suppliers and since its the weekend there was no way to get in touch with them so they will try on monday to get their shipment number increased i guess. he then told me to just shoot them an email @ support@buynextgen.com and they will email everyone who is still interested when the ordering page comes up. but i might just refresh the re5 page whenever i get on my comp just to check haha.

I'm not sure what everyone else reason is but i know why i prefer to use paypal.
When you give someone your CC# they can easily charge how ever much they please regardless of what you see in the receipt they sent you, if they were to scam you.
With Paypal you authorized Paypal to send them only the amount you sign off on, with just your Paypal email alone they can't do whatever they want with it.
But with either case you can file a dispute, so really at the end they're basically the same.
I would just rather have a $43 dispute than a maxed out CC dispute and have to get a new card.

I might have been the OP regarding the bestbuy pricematch, however I think you will be hard pressed to get the extra 10% of the difference as the pricematch policy for "gift card" offers mentions nothing about that. However, I might give it a shot anyway. So you know, in order to do this, you will have to pay at the regular registers @ BB, then go straight to the customer service to do that kind of pricematch/beat.

I know where I will be this Friday the 13th. now, if we would only start seeing some online reviews. =( I think Official Playstation in the UK gave it a 9/10 a few weeks ago.

Paypal is a joke....use your credit card direct and deal with your credit card company directly if anything goes wrong.

You just take the competitor's ad to Best Buy's customer service desk. You don't have to purchase it somewhere else first, but the other retailer sometimes has to have the game in stock or else Best Buy won't PM. And not every Best Buy will honor gift card PMs. It can be very YMMV.

Also, their prices aren't that amazing. If you look at their other listed games, they're fairly typical of any other retailer. Maybe I'm trying to reassure myself a little, maybe not, but here's a reason to think they're legit. It's not too far-fetched to think an upstart might make a name for itself by offering a limited amount of the hottest game currently available at a price just over or just under their cost to drive traffic to their site and generate exposure. It's what I would do at least. Be honest - who knew about Buynextgen.com last week? Well, we do now.

Yeah, I thought using PayPal was safe too until I didn't receive part of my paintball order. I tried working with the company Paintball Online (pntball.com) and they kept sending me the wrong items to replace the wrong items they sent me. I filed a claim and PayPal ruled in their favor all because they had proof they shipped me something. The funds came from my bank account so I don't think I could have done a partial chargeback like I could have if the funds had come out of my credit card.
