GREAT DEAL! I've been waiting on the price for that game (PC version) to go down so I could buy it! I'm all over that. THANKS TONS, CHEAPYD AND GAMESTOP! Woo!

Good deal but don't forget that the monthly fee is rather high plus extra for each additional character created.

Great deals are always appreciated, of course if anyone could find a week-trial free thing, that'd be even better!

it's only $14 a month and $1 per extra character.

Only? I already paid for the damn game, and in the PS2's case, a hard drive, so why the hell do I want to pay 14 bucks more a month and another dollar a character?

Because it allows you to experience something unlike any other game you've played. Seriously, for those of you who haven't tried an MMO, it's something altogether different from any other kind of game you've played. It's the only genre that I truly believe is addicting. Plus, you gotta pay for those servers somehow (unless you're a CAG and plan on playing Guild Wars  ).

Ledhed, I can definitely understand where you're coming from, but it's just not worth it IMO.

Believe me, I understand what you are saying, esp. in the PS2 version's case. If it weren't for server fees, I'd still be playing this and City of Heroes. Instead, I'm waiting for GW and it's lovely no-server-fees-ever structure. I talked to my manager earlier who was returning from a conference, and he snagged me a GW beta invite while he was there! I can't wait to play it again.

Wow so in theory you could get FF XI and Chains of Promithia for under $60, not bad at all really. If I was a bigger MMORPG player I'd probably hit this deal up.
