With Starbreeze as the dev, I'm sure the MP will be as horrible as The Darkness' MP was...
Still preordering since the SP for Butcher Bay was great (this is a remake + extras for those who don't know), just don't know why bother with shoddy MP...

I don't get the point of these exclusive MP maps, if they are so exclusive you won't be able to find many people online playing those maps, making them worthless...

it's the same "exclusive" map that Gamestop is offering.
my guess... less than a month (probably within a week or two) after release the "exclusive" map will be available for free for general download.

I agree -- "exclusive" multiplayer stuff makes no sense if you can only use it with other people that pre-ordered. Unless they release it to everyone at some point it'll be empty.

Haha, I've been thinking the same thing the whole time. I don't hate you saint, I hate the signature that isn't a sig.
Anyhow, what's the point of an EXCLUSIVE multiplayer map? It defeats the idea of multi player if only a few people have it.

Nothing quite says, "We appreciate your business" like selling you an item, then giving it free to everyone the next week, so you can actually use it.
Did I mention that pre-ordering makes me snicker? It's like gambling, but for no return.

i'm not so sure the exclusive maps are the same. i pre-ordered it from gamestop and they offer a free "Pitch Black" multiplayer map. if i remember correctly, Pitch Black is a mode in the game where 1 person is riddick and all of the others hunt him down. but the amazon free map is labeled as being a capture the flag map.
EDIT
actually, if you scroll down on the gamestop page, you can read the details of the different modes. if you look at the pitch black mode, it says it is designed for only 6 players and the maps are completely dark, whereas the capture the flag maps are more traditional fps maps and they support 12 players. so that basically confirms that the exclusive maps are different.

Yeah, the demo for me didn't do it.
I starkly remember Butcher Bay's graphics looking better. The stealth aspect of this game seems broken too. But, above all, the peeking around corners is fun.
