Amazon had a entry level DSLR by Pentax on sale just for today. It doesn’t look like this is considered top of the line, but according to reviews, it’s a good starter camera for people who want to get into more professional photography.

Thanks for the share - it looks good, however surely there are better cameras in this price angle?

Then again, reading the reviews this would be a decent buy.

I don't know too much about DSLRs, but I think the quality Nikons and Canon DSLRs go for $600 and up.
