I just doubled the gaming/DVD shelf space in my family room. My prominently displayed Vault Boy Bobblehead has motivated me to find figures and collectors items from some of my other favorite games. Problem is, aside from random overpriced Ebay auctions, I can't seem to find any decent place to look for em.

Anybody know of a place to find some game character figurines? I've looked through ebay, amazon, a little of play-asia, found the hella expensive first4figures, and past that nothing.

Characters I'd be especially interested in include those from Zelda, Okami, Mario, Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Half Life, etc.

And if anyone has any figures or collectors items they're looking to make some $$ on, feel free to let me know what ya got.

Thanks for your help all.

You might have some trouble with the more obscure stuff. Ebay or places like Play-Asia might be your only stop.

You should check Toy's "R" Us also, they seem to carry a lot of random video game related figures, like Mario stuff, God of War, Street Figther IV, Blue Dragon, and a few more.

Thanks for the tip Gosha. I'll have to check out Toys R Us on tomorrow's lunch break. For anyone else who may be interested, here's what they carry online http://www.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2256377

Still looking for more leads it anybody has em.

I didn't know they had those halo helmets, they're kinda cool.

I got this zelda set - http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-93-49-en-70-2fn7.html - from ebay a while ago and they're pretty cool (they're about 2-3 inches each). I also have a set of these 5 mario pvc figures - http://www.mugentoys.com/98316443862.html - but I didn't pay that much for them, I think they're basically the same as the larger figures that toys r us sells now. I would recommend all those.

Sometimes ebay is actually cheaper than other websites that sell the Japanese-made figures, you just have to look for the right auctions.

I'm loving those little Zelda figures and the Yoshi from the mario set. I may have to track some of those down. Thanks man.

Here's a pic I just took of those two sets, they sit in front of my TV (and are pretty dusty now):
