GameRush coupons in (some) November EGM - Used games for $1 with 5 tradeins

This has been mentioned on the site, but I didn't see it in this forum...

In some issues of the November EGM, page 53 has a set of three coupons for GameRush. The three coupons will get you a used game for $10 with three tradeins, $5 with four, or for a dollar with five tradeins. Depending on what game you're getting and how much you paid for the tradein titles originally, this could be a very good deal.

Thing is, though, not all issues of the November EGM have that ad. Mine does, but it sounds like there are a lot of CAGs that didn't get it in their issue. I have no idea why that is or why I have it when others don't. It might be regional, but I don't know the regions...

Going from the fine print, it looks like you can trade in two of any given title per day. It also looks like there may be some limits on the tradeins, but it said to "see trading brochure for complete details."

Hope that this helps someone out. I don't post very many deals...so here's hoping this will be useful. :D

So the page has 3 separate coupons on it, or is it 3 separate deals on one coupon.

It sounds clearly that it's 3 separate coupons and you can do either of the deals per coupon, but I just want to make sure. Also does it say how many times I could do the deal per coupon? For example, bring 9 games in and get 3 games for $10 a piece all with one coupon.

gosh, remember when it used to be trade 2 and get a used game for $10. Then trade 3 and get a used for $5 ?

I guess they figured out they were losing money on the deal.

Most peoples don't know GR over GS & EB. With the Promotion and coupon can get more peoples attention to they stores.

They lose money but they get MORE MORE Customers then soon they make alot alot $$$$ :)

Its hard to say how successful they are going to be ultimatly with this strategy, they could go the way of the dreamcast or the way of the Xbox....but with Viacom's money backing them they have a shot,but i heard that blockbuster investors are trying to buy themselves free of Viacom. If that comes to be true they could be in deep doo-doo...who knows and honestly who cares as long as im getting good deals :lol:

There are at least a dozen or so BBs within 10 miles and none of them have a Gamerush. :sad:

I subscribe to EGM and the only thing on page 53 is a $14.99 subscription coupon to the unlimited gaming at Blockbuster. Probably I don't have the coupons is because I don't even have a GR in my town. it's like hours away in Salem and it's the only one in Oregon! WTF.
