Has anyone played this game yet? I can't find any reviews - it's not in Gamerankings, Gamefaqs, Gamespot, or any other place. I'm looking for a good multiplayer game, and it seems as if it might fit the bill. From what I've read on eb's site (which is the only evidence to date that the game even exists) is that the main draw is that all the previously online only content can now be played offline, which is good since I don't have a network adapter and don't want one. The problem is, that the previous version locked all the quests in offline multiplayer until you beat them online. Is that the case here too, or did they change that rule? I really want to know, because I'm all set to buy this, but I don't want to get home and find that 95% of the game is locked and unplayable.

Is it out yet?

From what I understand the game plays exactly like PSO 1+2 for GC except they fixed a couple gliches and added some more missions. I think thats all.

I went looking for it today, couldn't find it anywhere. It was supposed to ship on Tuesday this week, so I don't know what's up.

I was at my local games stores yesterday, and it wasn't in either.

Toys R Us has it in-stock already. Other stores will probably follow shortly. The cover is the same as before, except instead of the white background, it is a shade of orange.

I was in EB Games today and they had a new copy of PSO 1&2 Plus on the shelf. I only saw one. Price: $29.99

I wouldn't call the new cover orange. It looked the exact same except that the tint was much more blue than the original cover art. I didn't see where it was orange.

I just got my copy about 2 days ago. I haven't played much into it so far, and I haven't played the previous version or the DC version so I can't give a fair review of it so far. But from my understanding it is exactly like the first version for except now previously online only content is offline as well.

the reason for this is because the original showed a crack in the GC's armor..

pso was the game that allowed people to start streaming downloaded games to the GC

but i would think that you'd have to be nutty to even invest in a broadband adapter for the cube..after all there is just one game that supports it

You also need the BB adaptor to play LAN games so more than one game supports it. But still it almost is a waste of money.

Well technically, the GC has 3 online compatible games now. PSO I&II, PSO III, and now PSO I&II Plus. That's one online game for every year the GC's been out.
