There is a rumor that they are changing their colors and logo (but not until 2010). Even stuff without the logo is on sale. EVERYTHING in the store is around 80% off. Shipping seems kind of high though.

I did not see the slickdeals thread, but checked the timestamp, and it does look like "cleaver" posted there before I posted here. So now I'm not sure who is the biggest nerd: him for complaining that I stole his deal, or me for analyzing the timestamps in an effort to prove him wrong. ;)

the only reason the jerseys are cheap is because the players dont play on the lions anymore. kitna is gone...and corey smith was lost at sea.

The only way this could possible be considered a deal is if they had old Barry Sanders jerseys for sale. But they don't.

Thanks for the post. Im a huge DET Lions fan and very sad about this past season but happy to see cheap gear to buy. I dont see much posted about stuff in MI and when I saw DET Lions gear I was like I gotta check this out lol. Thanks and there is always next season for them

Huge Lions fan here. Yeah, I would take a Barry Sanders or maybe even a Calvin Johnson jersey, but no deals on them.

This isn't a rumor.
It's happening THIS year. Just this morning, new Lion Grady Jackson claimed he loved "the new colors."
Mike Valenti, a popular radio show host in the Detroit area, is claiming he's seen the new logo and colors and is claiming they are "chintzy" and he "hates it." Valenti has always championed the old-fashioned logo so people are now assuming the logo is an updated look in the same vein as the Jaguars or Panthers logo. He also claims blue is still part of the new colors.

thanks for the post! I'm in detroit and a lions fan, and they do have current players, like Kevin Smith and Ernie Sims. BUT, there is talk that the lions will be changing uniforms and the logo soon.

not a lions fan myself, but I kinda like the logo.
I'm not sold on it. To me, the lion looks like it is in pain and trying to escape.
I'd go for a Kitna jersey, though...but that's only because he saved a few games for me years ago in my fantasy football league when he was in the Bengals.
