this site was infamous in the '90s import scene. they were up there with buy-rite games as the WORST online retailers. wouldn't be surprised if nothing changed.

I bought a special edition DS from them a couple of years ago when it couldn't be found anywhere else. I was skeptical but really wanted the DS, so I placed my order. Much to my surprise, the DS showed up in 4 days, shipped from Hawaii. I've only ordered one other game from them last year and that one arrived within a week as well. They have a lot of bad reviews, so it is buyer beware as always, but I thought I'd share my positive experience as an FYI.

Well I finally called this place on my fightpad order. I ordered Akuma so I called on my order to see when it would ship.

SADLY, she said the Akuma fightpad links were put up there in error but she said she had all the other Fightpad's in stock so they are still there if you want 'em guys. :D

They have bad inventory control, I ordered 3 items from them around 6 years ago. 2 shipped, I was charged for all 3. I never got a backorder notice and they didn't say anything until I e-mailed them a month later asking where my item was. They told me it was backordered and somehow magically shipped it a few days later. If I hadn't e-mailed them I have to wonder if the item really wasn't backordered and they hoped I wouldn't notice I was charged for it.

Have you every bought anything with them...They are screwing you over. You will never get anything from them. read the reviews. they take the money out and wait until you file a complaint to ship out your item or give you your money back.

I still paid with credit card instead of PAYPAL instant payment so I don't expect it to be hard to get my money back or keep from being ripped off. It's called merchant chargeback.:D

I'd just check regular brick and mortar stores every once in a while. I got a Blanka (360) pad at my Gamestop on saturday. My worker buddy told me they seem to be getting a few in here and there. (Bloomington, IL)

Just dont ask for a refund b/c they will no longer respond to you at all. they will cease email with you and put you on hold for an hour whenever you call. read the reviews. they should be shut down.

When my ex lived in Oahu, she bought all my macross toys from them. They're a pretty cool mom n' pop store. I've been in there several times.

I wouldn't buy anything online though.

Back on topic and with an order update for you as promised. The lady who I spoke too told me they had all the fightpads in stock except the Akuma one I originally ordered.

The lady at their Customer Service dept said she would cancel the Akuma one for me(hadn't been charged by the way), and substitute and Ken and Ryu 360 for me.

I thought I was set...BUT they then called me back on my contact number after going and pulling product off the floor and told me they had already sold out and shipped their last Ken and Ryu pads, but expected more in the next few days. He then offered to ship me a in stock Blanka and Chun-Li instead so I said what the heck and told him to go for it.

I am a bit weird about these pads since as a collector, I am shooting for one of each different one anyways for each system I own :shock:...I just love SF IV that much plus I admit, I do get a little weird and compulsive when it comes to video game collectables or anniversary items.

That was yesterday.

Today, I got a tracking number that the fightpads shipped even after hearing all the scary stories.:applause:

Just FYI for anyone who still wants one or more of these. They still have some and if you like, I am sure you can call the customer service number first to confirm inventory levels.

EDIT : They seem pretty legit other than them not checking their floor for the most current availability of the product.

So back with an update for the thread !

I got my Fightpads I ordered from them just last Thursday in the mail today(Blanka and Chun-Li) for the PS3 with no problems and fast Priority Mail Shipping !

So to all the naysayers, this company is legit ! ;)

Street Fighter IV Fightpads still IN STOCK (although you may want to call first to check exact product availability on their sales/showroom floor)

The good thing is that they have not charged my credit card.
I ordered about 2 weeks ago, and called them the day after I ordered, they said they are in stock and will ship the next business day.

I called them again last week and they said they would ship on Friday.
It is now Monday and they still have not shipped.
