About how much should I pay for a US NES system with a fairly new pin connecter?

I would say 15-20. You can get a new connector free from nintendo.

To answer the "Original or Toploader"-whatever is cheaper.
Id like to get one with the pin already installed as i already shaq-fued an xbox trying to put a mod chip in

it depends I mean go to a garage sale and you could get it for 5-10 bucks
but they go for around 50 on ebay with 10 or so shipping.
so its up to you.

Fixing the NES is not even nearly as complicated as messing with the xbox. All you do is pull off the old connector and slide on the new one. It will probably be cheaper to get one and replace it yourself.

Or send it to me with enough postage to send it back and I'll do it for you. But the cost of that would probably not be worth it.

There's also a way to repair the old connector.

I repaired my old one and saved the new ones I have for later use. Repairing the old one drastically helped.

I had a topic about it many months ago. Give them a call at their toll fre number. Tell them your nintendo is messing up and you need a new 72 pin connector. Some people have had problems getting them, if so just try again. If I can find the original post I'll link it.
