But It's more than bump worthy. It's thread worthy.

It's impossibly worthy!

Dude, Venture is making the moves on Su-err I mean Sally Richards! And Race Bannon pissed himself...

"I didn't know they do that."
Brock: "They don't show that part on TV"

BWAHAHAHAHA! A Fantastic Four AND Johnny Quest parody in one episode!

Great episode. Glad I gave this show some time, because the first couple of episodes weren't as good... it's been picking up steam.

And the whole show is a Johnny Quest parody! :)

are you talking about the show that in one episode they were in mexico and the professor had his kidney cut out laying in a bathtub of ice?

The show definitley has promise but thats the only episode i've seen and was a little slow in parts. Being used to the non stop quips that family guy simpsons and ATHF has this show fell a little flat.

Are you sure it gets better? How many episodes thus far? DVD box set soon when they got about 12 episodes huh?

Well, you need to watch a lot more. They should all come around again in the next few months.

The series, like Johnny Quest, also owes a lot to the Tom Swift (Tom Swift and his Electric Chair) and Tom Swift Jr. books. Dr. Venture's struggle against his father's legacy is really direct slam at the Tom Swift Jr. series.

They really hit a lot of the the little details in the short space of time given without turning it into Trivia Chalenge.

I just remembered the other FF gone bad example. It was in Planetary but that was very much not for laughs.

This weeks episode was "Impossibly" Funny.

The scene alone with the Human Torch was amazing. And withy all our talk on here about The Thing the parody on Venture was quite timely.

"Don't taunt your brother with your circumcision."--Dr. Venture.

Now that is good tv. There are always a few gems in each episode.

That's funny. I tried to go to that website after that episode but nothing came up. Must have spelled it wrong.

"FUN SCROTAL SCIENCE PROJECT:
On a hot day, disrobe and slip your body (groin and all) into a cold shower. Notice how your testicles tell your scrotum to contract and thus, bring them closer to the warmth of your body's bulk. Examine the prune like puckering your scrotum produces to accomplish this amazing feat of strength and engineering. Write about your experience in your journal."

This quote from the site is the best.
It is normal for one testicle to hang lower than the other in the scrotum. It considered more attractive to have the right one lower than the left. (The opposite applies to European tastes.)

I think the whole concept is awesome. A yard sale populated by villans intent on destroying the holder of the sale. That's justa solid idea for hilarity. Also I love Brock and the security crew.

WTF! The venture bros died! I loved hank's sash blowing in the wind, but i can't believe that they're really dead. I can't believe how all of the weird things from the begining of the series are coming into fruition. They've also really been going for that whole cliffhanger thing lately eh?

SneakyPenguin

Man last night's episode was awesome. Sheer awesome, so funny. Favorite Qoute:

Dr. Thadeus Venture -"What would I do without you Brock?"
Brock Sampson-"You would've died."

It's as though every episode has an awesome qoute. Great dialogue. Strange cliffhanger ending though.

Dr. Venture's secret twin, Jonah, brought me back to my early suspicion about Hank and Dean's mysterious conception. I believe they are only half brothers, conceived of the same woman in quick succession and thus born as twins. This is possible but very rare since it requires a combination of factors to all come together at once. Whats more, looking at the boys, I suspect while Dean is Dr. Venture's son (or Jonas' son!), Hank's father is none other than Brock.

That is an interesting theory, but Hank is way too much of a goof to be Brock's son. Although he does show some management potential.

You assume Brock's genes are dominant. Plus, we don't know anything about the mother.

Also, keep in mind, that Hank and Dean have been raised under some rather odd conditions. How could the Venture boys not be seriously twisted? It's notable that Hank has much more of an attraction to Brock's lifestyle than his brother.

"Sleeping bag, they were sleeping bags!"
