I recently started selling stuff on Amazon. I'm liking it so far. I still use eBay. But I noticed there was something strange. Normally, when you ship items on eBay, it would show up as "shipped" on "my ebay" tab with the shipping icon notifying that it is shipped and is visible. But in Amazon, all they do is tell you to ship it. So do I have to manually make a shipping label when using amazon?

thanks :D

Yes, manually make a shipping label. Amazon doesn't care how you ship either (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc). I usually ship it through USPS via PayPal.

I would encourage you to print out a packing slip from Amazon and then email the buyer through Amazon with the tracking number when you have it.

Good luck!

Amazon is a great place to sell. You'll find that you'll receive feedback less often and that the buyer will rarely contact you.

Also, be sure to check ebay prices as sometimes ebay sells much higher than Amazon and vice-versa. Still, of the dozen or so items I've sold on Amazon, only one went unsold in 30 days. One took about a week. All of the other items sold within a day - usually within the hour.

Yeah gotcha. ;)

thanks again. only reason i decided to try amazon was because i been hearing people complaining ebay sucks when it comes to selling and amazon is much better.

there are pros and cons to both.
