Why Spend over $40 madden ?? Did you know ESPN 2k5 $20 and it have better graphics, game play compare to madden 2005.

So you've seen some of the better deals on the internet? Exactly what do you expect, especially from a series like Madden? Those are titles that traditionally stay higher longer, and then drop into the bargain basement when the new version comes along. I mean really, if you were EA, why would you drop the price on a game that you won't be able to give away in 7-8 months?

I'm not really expecting EA to drop the price, but come on, I've been around the NET for awhile, and I know that there are serious net-freakazoids out there, like 10x the freak I am, which is very hard to do....

But people can put coupon codes together on special 5 hour sales, and take the game home free with $5 cash in their pocket for writing a review, so you know, I thought I'd ask.

Sorry if I put it in the wrong forum. I put a new topic in "request a deal."

Thanks again.

Are you saying this because you personally own both ESPN and Madden and have done indepth analysis and comparison? I wouldn't be apposed, but all the reviews I've read, PC Mag, Comp Gaming World, Electronic Gaming Monthly all rate Madden as better than ESPN 2K5. Hey, I'm all about saving cash, but I want the best game possible. So what is it?

I was actually just thinking about buying them both so I could make my own decision, at $20 for ESPN, why not just add it on?

Per your posts in this thread, any deal that required someone to write a coherent blurb of text would obviously exclude you.
