Deal Extreme Shipping

I ordered something that was shipped out on the 17th from Deal Extreme. I understand it can be long because it is coming from Hong Kong. In CAGs experience, what is the average time to wait for something from them. Also, how is it delivered? Via UPS, FedEx, USPS?

Last time I shopped there, it was called Axshop. I remember it taking two weeks on average, and it came via USPS.

They always shipped everything nicely, with lots of packaging and so on.

I did free shipping, and it took around a month I think... but I think one of the items was temporarily out of stock, plus, it may have been a holiday... and yeah, it came via USPS. Also, I had to go to the post office to sign for the first shipment (they end up shipping each item separately, due to it taking longer than expected to get more in I guess), the second one they put in my mailbox.

Took a bit less than 2 weeks, but I'm on the west coast.

3 weeks is definitely the average. If something is backordered they usually send that separately.

Straight USPS to the mailbox if your order is under $15.
USPS Registered Air Mail w/Signature delivery if your order is over $15.

I purposely make all of my orders under $15 now. I can't stand having to go the post office and wait in line to sign for and receive a package that could have been at my door days earlier.

Well my order actually was placed around the 10th and was shipped on the 17th. When everyone is saying 2 or 3 weeks, is that from the time you placed the order or from the time that the website says it has shipped?

Also, my order was under $15 so at least I won't have to worry about that.

I think from shipment notification... maybe not though... it's been a while since I placed the order.

I recently bought a PS2 memory card from them and it took a week after I ordered for them to ship and then it took about 2 weeks to arrive. It's painfully slow but the prices are worth it.
