It's just become a day of annoyance...
Whatever happened to the good old days, like dumping out all the cereal and putting the boxes back so your siblings are disapointed in the mornning... Now we get rick rolls, brain scans, lord knows what else.

Welcome to 2004-ish. Seriously.
Today is nothing but an annoyance.

Thirded. The fun of April fools is the novelty. The novelty has worm off of Internet April Fools pranks.

I read an insidious idea yesterday. Find a coworker's office chair and tape a big sign that says "April Fools!" on it in big letters. That's it. Watch them go mad for the rest of the day.

Actually no...there are more pranks that are brewing as I type this and some of them are real-world.
And what's wrong with Berkeley besides the stupid, crunchy hippies, the liberal extremists with bad hair, the bad drivers, the moronic UC students who don't know what a stop sign looks like, the dirtbags on Telegraph, the ugly naked people running in the streets, the festering smell from the homeless people on the bus ? Seriously...whats your problem with Berkeley?

Eh, there's a fine line. Unfortunately, far far far too many people have no shaq-fuin' idea where that line is.
WoW's? Awesome. Woot? Clever, although it didn't stop the site from being hammered to death immediately plus they did that one 3 years ago. One Piece manga translations spoilers for this week? GODDAMN MARVELOUS. Cheapy? ...Eh, sorry... too obvious.

And what's wrong with Berkeley besides...
It's right up there with Santa Cruz for starters.

lol, dunno... have ya been to downtown SC? I feared for my life and it wasn't even because of guns. Not to mention the condition they were in they probably couldn't shoot anyway.
I guess I have to see more of Berkley... to get it.

Wait, wait, wait.
April Fools day wasn't an annoyance /before/ the internet? I'm pretty sure I remember it being an opportunity for pranks. A significant number of which were not funny, and a significant minority of which were actually destructive.

But did you hear what happened to ThinkGeek?
They created a fake product for April Fools but their audience loved the idea of it and hundreds of people tried to order it. Now ThinkGeek is trying to see if they can get the license to make it possible.
