I getting it whenever EB decides to call me cause I got it reserved. I used a couple crappy $5 CC games to get $20 towards it. Being a comic book reader, I've been waiting forever for a great X-Men game.
How bout YOU?

Is it multi-player for the main game? They've changed it so much, I can't keep up with whether it is legitimately multiplayer or if it's just multi-play for "mini-games" and "vs. battles"?
If it's multi player throughout, count me in!
I already had two great X-Men games...... on Genesis :-)
Since then the only thing that was even marginally good was Wolverine on GBA -- and quite honestly by 16-bit glory days standards it was rather mediocre :-(
As such, I don't hold out a lot of hope.........

I did the same. But I'm not in too much of a hurry to pick it up because of Fable and Star Wars Battlefront and DVD Trilogy.
And I don't get paid until Friday and I don't have enough left over after Star Wars.
I thinking if I could get my buddies together to play we could really have a good time playing it. I watched a making of on G4TV a few days ago and it really looked great. 150 levels or zones, 15 playable characters and the ability to switch between one of four characters on the fly. Also if your playing a friend can just push start and join in and if he wants to stop playing (For some odd reason  ) He can switch it back to the CPU.

bradr, you control 4 X-Men regardless if you're playing multiplayer or not. And if you have less than 4 people playing, you can swtich between the other 4 with a push of a button.
minx, I loved the Genesis games and that one SNES Capcom title and Legends looks like the X-Men glory of this era.
This seems like a Gauntlet-esque game, but doesn't look as repetitive since you have 15 characters (at least) who all level up together, though of course the ones you use more will be stronger. They just made it that way so your unused X-Men won't be so far behind in the later levels.

IGN has a review up. Looks like it lives up to expectations.

There are many games I will be picking up soon, and X-Men Legends isn't one of them.

I'm an X-Men fan from the Jim Lee and Chris Claremont era back in the early to mid 90's. I have high hopes for this game, and I hope it won't disappoint. I hope other mutants make cameos, too.
I'm thinking it's like Hunter: The Reckoning but with AI team buddies. But of course, with the Marvel license. I will buy this game, but only after checking out multiple reviews and after a price drop.

I waited for a price drop to get KOTOR and I'll wait for a price drop for this.

Judging from the trailers, it's probably gonna play like Secret of Mana, an old favorite of mine. But I won't get this until there's a price drop. I have more pressing games to commit my funds towards. Can't wait for Shadow Hearts: Covenant on the 28th.

I'm glad it didn't turn out garbage.. this is one that I've been looking forward to.. might pick it up in the TRU sale.. maybe for Christmas.. but will definately have it by 2005. Weird, I haven't heard too much about it being released.. not usually a good sign, but IGN seems to like it..

I played the demo of it on a xbox and it was very good. It seems to have everything I wanted in a x-men game and on top of that it has rpg elements. Which is probably the closest I ever would get to play them in a rpg like setting. But I'll wait until a price drop before I get it since I have way too many games to finish first.
