The DSi reads .mp4, .3gp, and .m4a. So, if I have my facts straight, while the media is encoded with AAC, it is actually placed into a m4a/mp4 container? Anyone want to try various things?

Did anyone actually expect it to read raw AAC? Does any consumer hardware device? Who the hell rips their CDs to raw AAC?

The reason I made this thread was because I never really was familiar with AAC, MP4, etc. In other words, until then, I thought AAC was the actual container.
