Excite Truck Question...

I've been playing ET extensively for the past few days, and I've noticed that you can unlock the alternative paint job for a truck if you get three S ranks with it or use it in 10 races. I've unlocked the alternative paint job for quite a few trucks, but when I get to the color selection screen, I don't see the alternative paint job anywhere. How do I select the alternative paint job? Thanks in advance.

press "up" when you are on the truck that you want. Then you get to pick the color.

I believe it's when you select the truck, but I'm sure you've figured it out by now.
