i am also a major eagles fan but i dunno about all the way i mean come on their 2 games into the season. Great game tonight which im sure u watched. luckly the vikings shot themselves in the foot with all those penalties.

and don't forget culpeppers fumble on the goal line and moss's that got called back that was a big help for philly too.

I mean the birds caused that fumble though, so they are responsible for that fumble and its not the eagles fault that moss does something that gets penalized

Those as well as the Culpepper TD that was called back for holding. Lots of luck, there. Until they get past the NFC Championship game, I don't see a reason to be at all excited. Every year for the past 3 or so, Philly fans start in on the "damn we're good, we're going all the way" talk. NFC Championship comes around, and it's auto-erotic asphyxiation time for the Eagles. Not to downplay the achievement of their regular season, and the fact that they GET to the NFC Championship, but DAMN stop with the "We're the greatest" year in and year out. Win something for christ sake.

yeah, the Eagles suck. They played 2 games and neither one was that impressive - the Vikings handed the game to them last night along with the refs and all of their "holding" calls. Jeez, the league wants the Eagles to win so bad it's sickening.

This has to be the dumbest post ever. What would the league gain by having the Eagles win? If anything, they want the Patriots to win for symbollic reasons right. Damn I hate people like this. DId you even watch the game? All of those penelties were legit, hell Madden showed them to the audience. You don't hear Eagle fans complaining about the fumble that they recovered and didn't get do you? GO root for what ever team you like (probally someone crappy like the Giants or something).

The Eagles look about as good as they possibly can right now. I'm not saying they are going to the Bowl, but right now it looks like it. McNabb is playing great, TO has added a whole new dimension (and seems to have the right attitude toward doing what needs to be done to win) and their D (including Kearse and their young CBs) looks sweet. Someone is going to have to stop them. They may have a few bad games, but I see them making it far into the playoffs again. We shall see...

Those penalties were not legit and TO didn't catch that TD either. A friend of a friend has an uncle whose boss was at a restaurant before the season started and he overheard the president of the league say they had to make sure the Eagles won a few games this year because they are such a pathetic franchise. Face it, the Eagles are losers. Always have been, always will be.

Our only hope is to play a near flawless game and hope the Eagles are looking ahead in their schedule.
I think the Lions either win by a close score or get blown out by 17+ points.

The Eagles have got to get to the Super Bowl this year. I think Philly has the longest time period of no sports championship of any major city (the last time a team won a championship was the Sixers in 1983) and we could really use a championship win. I'd hate to see 4 years in a row of the Eagles getting to the NFC Championship and lose.
With the Phillies basically having no chance to get into the playoffs this year, the NHL lockout and the Sixers (who knows this year), the Eagles are the only Philly team with a decent chance of winning the championship
