Would it have overwhelmed the current state of FX technology to make the Storm siblings blonde? Nitpicking perhaps but why radically change the appearance of iconic characters?

Thats ok. I just dont want 7 or 8 threads on the Fantastic Four. If you look at the Xbox forum, there is like 8 threads on Fable. I just want to simplify everything...thats all.

I was hoping there'd be a picture of Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom. I still don't know if I'll like that casting decision.

The casting looks all wrong. While it really doesn't matter for the Thing, all the other characters don't look anything like their comic book coutner part. Nothing personal against Jessica Alba, but the fact that she was casted as Sue Storm shows that this movie is trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Kind of like having Halle Berry as Catwoman. With that said yes Jessica Alba is damn hot.

Michael Chiklis is the man.
Hopefuly this film will have no barring on the starting of the fourth season of "The Shield"!

Hot but a terrible, terrible actress. I wonder if they're going to do any gags based on being able to selectively turn objects like her clothes invisible, and whether she'll have the force field ability that makes so much more formidable than she started out.
I'd disagree on the Thing casting. The personality matters a great deal and that is what Chiklis brings to the role. He's the only actor in this cast I have any confidence in. It's interesting that he does 'The Shield' and has done a excellent portrayal of Jerome 'Curly' Howard in a TV biopic of The Three Stooges. Both of those offer something for creating a cinematic Ben Grimm. (I have a big soft spot for the Three Stooges movie because I was involved in a Three Stooges video game long ago and had to become deeply versed in Stooges trivia.)

That's about the way I felt about the casting of Charlie's Angels. It seemed to me that they ruined The Hulk also.

I haven't gotten around to seeing any of Nip/Tuck but I saw a few old episodes of 'Charmed' where he was apparently the Big Bad of the season. He actually seems like a good choice based on that character but the problem is that the Doom in the screenplay is almost unrecognizable as the comics character. Doom isn't a cosmic ray mutated Collosus/Electro clone. He's an ordinary human of great genius and extreme vanity who chose to hide his face forever to conceal what turned out to be minor scarring. Not to mention the considerable backstory the character brings to the table. All gone.

I thought the Hulk casting was pretty good. The failure was in execution. It took way too long for the title character to get any screen time. They should have brought the Hulk on almost immediately and then spent some time in flashback showing how it came to this, then move forward from there. I also didn't care for the gamma dogs. They were just kinda dumb and their scenes were not well done.

It was the funcky computer effects that I hated. The original TV show was so much better. I wish they did it more like that....

Michael Chiklis should forget movies and focus on the best TV show ever. I'm of course talking about The Shield.

Please, no. The TV show tried but their Hulk was a wimpy pale shadow of what comics fans wanted. We wanted the guy who 8 feet tall, weighs half a ton, and punches out tanks. (I rather liked that part.)
