Even if true, it makes sense for Japan but not in Europe and US.

Meh...SO4 didn't seem that good anyways, if it does come for the PS3 then that's cool

I think this makes sense for the US. The PS3 crowd is much more open to JRPGs as it has always been on Sony platforms. It's why the PS1 and PS2 have had plenty of obscure JRPGs. If this is released on PS3, the sales will be similar if not greater than the Xbox 360 version sales.
