I just got back from my Best Buy and the place was pretty much wiped clean. They had no QOS, pure, silent hill, infinite Undiscovery, or Soul Calibur. Where the games were there was a big hole. Obviously someone has horded them. I ask my friend who works LP about it and he said he saw some people grab 20-30 games yesterday. I hope they dont PM them for the guys and they get put back out on the shelf.

Like i said iam prob going to buy 2 sc4 i already own 2 back when it was new at 59.99:bomb: but these two will prob be for cags since every hoarder in the usa will flip all theirs on ebay and there will be so much undercutting i wouldent be surpised if you can buy them on ebay for 19 bucks with shipping to save on legwork.

i was lucky and hit wal-mart with a ad i was able to get infinite undiscoery for 10 bucks on price match.

Best Buy this morning was nuts, as they opened the doors to let us in, the music from left 4 dead when the tank appears cues in and some very large kid with a halo t-shirt pretty much pummels me and my one of my buddies out of the way to get in before everyone else. Searching the racks I grabbed the only copy of soul calibur 4 for 360 much to the disdain of everyone there.

For everyone looking for soul cal on 360 wal-mart by me wouldnt price match because it wasnt in the hard copy of the ad, but the wal-mart a couple of cities (10 min drive) away from me let my friend have soul cal 4 for 10 bucks at wal-mart with ad. so I guess its just a luck of the draw thing.

Also, I attempted to get a command and conquer 3 at target but they had pulled every game listed in the hard copy of best buys ad. :/

I live in a small/medium size town west of Nashville and some stores are limited to one location. However, I'm fortunate to have multiples K-Marts/Wal-Marts. This is just me, but when there are deals like this I'm more than willing to drive out of my way to score extras for the community if possible. I don't expect or want to be compensated for gas, miles, etc. because usually I'm looking for myself too. I'm all about icluding paypal fees, shipping, and bubble mailer, but if you need money for your time, gas miles, etc. then you're not "Doing It" for the community, as much as you are doing a "paid service". Well that's my two cents, which really is only worth a fraction of that in this recession...lol.

I have to agree with both sides on this one. My opinion which really doesn't matter is that on a sale like this the best thing to do is just trade copies for other games you want. Whether they are from this sale or from other places and such. That is the best way to help people out. When you try and sell them cheap to help out most people bitch about every last penny.

I think many of us enjoy the search and are looking for ourselves when helping out. Thus I feel no need to be compensated for the time.

Considering the number of people that flip and resell I think when selling them if your gonna be ultra nice and help others out, Like doing $15 shippd for these titles...I'd only do it for established Cags. I've helped people out and they still send cc funded paypal when told not to. A couple times I just accepted it.

I think 18.00 is a bit excessive (but not too different from the 16.00 I may or may not charge) but then again some people may run to Walgreens to grab a bubble mailer for a buck if they didn't get a good deal on bubble mailers or may run to the post office to do their mailing if they didn't know about Paypal's cheap shipping.

I use Paypal shipping, but I have found that if I drop it off at the PO in downtown (which is a bitch to get in and out of because of the traffic) the package arrives quicker because it is a transfer station. Giving it to my mail provider or the local dropbox always seems to add a few days to the shipment. Like I said before, I don't think $3 is making a profit. There are plenty of CAGs I have traded with before that I would ship the game to for my cost period because they have helped me out. When I post something in a thread like this, I expect to get mostly new CAGs or lurkers wanting to buy the game, that's when it goes to $18 because it is my time gettting the game, packing the game, driving to ship the game, etc.
