Thanks, but I'd rather not alter the card at this point. The only reason I did it for the one fight was because Regian's 360 red ringed...and that happened like the day after the matches were posted.

People not getting their fights in will dictate what fights (if any) they receive in the future. It sucks to have unfinished matches, but I think it will benefit CAGFC in the long run. The deadline for those 3 fights is tonight, and you'll be on the new card that's posted tomorrow. Patience, grasshopper :)

Well, it's not exactly set (not like a live card or anything). You've got a week to get your fight done. I just wanted to make sure you'd have a couple days available to at least have a chance to get it done before you leave. Basically, the card will be put up tomorrow morning, and the fights just have to be completed by the following Thursday at 11:59 PM EST.

Yea it was a good fight. I couldn't stop your takedowns and I did have trouble getting up a few times. But I definitely connected on that spinning back fist right out of the gate! Looking forward to fighting you again in the future though!

PS: Off topic but I fought a ranked match right after you. Guy was beating me and then I turned it around and made him submit. BOOM! Quit as soon as he tapped. Pissed me off so I'm glad I got 1 good fight in tonight!

I haven't played for a few days since I started up Quantum of Solace, but I'm finally going to start my second character this weekend. I'm just not sure which to go with. The HW and LHW divisions have the most competition, and each features a few friends of mine.

I'd go with my original guy, Zeus Rambo, as a heavyweight, or an as of now unnamed celebrity as a light heavyweight. Of course, I have also been wanting to create Damarques Johnson at welterweight, but maybe I should see if he wins TUF first.

All right, sorry for the delay getting the card up guys. Had some problems to deal with around the house this morning. (stupid washing machine threw itself out of balance...piece of shit..) Anyway, the results from CAGFC2 are in, the rankings have been updated, and the card for CAGFC3: FULLY LOADED is now up!

I went with the name "Fully Loaded" because other than our 3 "injured" fighters (2 red rings, 1 wedding ring *rimshot*), every fighter is on the card. Fights will be due by next Thursday, June 18th at 11:59 PM EST. Contact your opponent, schedule your fight, and go to war! :)

Also, I want to officially state that due to failing to get their fights completed last week, the following fighters have been issued a warning:

Apparently E74 is something with the Ethernet posrt messing up? I noticed that there were vertical lines running up and down my screen, kinda like a corduroy filter or something went over my t.v. I turned it off, got something to eat, came back, and bam, E74. Fuck. Also, for some reason, the shipping label image won't show up on my browser, so now I'm on the phone, on hold, with some dude trying to get my repair request canceled and re-done.

I hope it doesn't take that long. But at least my internship was extended till the end of the month, so I'll have something to do. Man, if I was unemployed and my friends were working all morning, I'd be bored as hell.

Amazing fight. Nate KO'ed me with a head kick counter to my Superman punch attempt. That's like the 3rd time he's done that, LOL. But I had to go for the KO since I wasn't confident I'd win the decision. Things were too close.

The simultaneous missed spinning backfists were cool... My arm is dead from that triangle choke. I had you so close to tapping, and you had no stamina, but then mine ran out, too, and your superior sub skills allowed you to get up. :(

Yeah, INCREDIBLE fight Matt! It was really even through the first two rounds. I felt like you probably took the 1st, but I came on stronger in the 2nd, until you went for that devastating triangle choke that I have no idea how I got out of. I was mashing the buttons like a son of a bitch (and also making panting noises, haha ;))

The spinning backfists made me laugh. It looked like ballroom dancing, haha. I really wasn't sure who was winning at the end, which is why I started throwing the big shots. We were both really swinging, and either of us easily could have won. I can't believe that kick landed with ONE SECOND left in the fight. That was insane! Great, great fight. We're a couple of badasses. 8-)

That was probably the best fight I've had with anyone.

I finally got started on my second CAF. I put in about 2 hours into the career and got a little past the first year. I'm 7-0, ranked 7th in the division, 40 overall so far. I'm saving the details until the guy is fight-ready, but this guy's definitely... unique.

I will tell you, however, that he is a 6'7" boxer/wrestler from Sweden.

Good call Alan. Some people pay however much extra for the extended warranty and all that stuff, but I don't see this as being that different in terms of cost. Not to mention, getting a brand new system provides you with another 3 years of protection from RRoDs.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - After years of racist thinking and unapologetically using the "N word" (including one idiotic rant directed at President Obama last month), DrP1zza finally got what was coming to him on an otherwise quiet Sunday afternoon.

The merciless beating he received at the hands of one "Big Black Smurf" will go down in the annals (or is it anals?) of time. While the fight was sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and put on as part of CAGFC's third show, titled "Fully Loaded", the only things fully loaded were the devastating strikes that rained down into DrP1zza's skull as referee Mario Yamasaki flailed his arms haplessly, as though pleading for Big Black Smurf to stop.

From the opening bell, Big Black Smurf dominated the match, delivering big shots at will, and controlling DrP1zza in his seemingly inescapable clinch. However, DrP1zza somehow managed to put up a fight, and scored a few takedowns, narrowly getting out of the round.

In the 2nd round, it was more of the same. Big Black Smurf continued to utilize his clinch game, even knocking DrP1zza to the mat several times. Astonishingly, DrP1zza just kept coming back for more.

Finally, as the final minutes of the 2nd round ticked away, Big Black Smurf knocked DrP1zza to the canvas once more. He stood over DrP1zza with fire in his eyes and began raining down his mammoth hands in a fury.

DrP1zza struggled, but finally succombed to the will of the massive dark force towering over him. Just before losing complete consciousness, DrP1zza managed to spit out his mouthpiece, looked into his aggressor's eyes, and meekly pleaded "OW! JESUS CHRIST! STOP HITTING ME YOU N*****!!!"

I really thought having the results be this convenient would really benefit the league in the long run. Not only will it make it easier when making the cards, but it'll also let you see how you've done against the competition in your weight class. Garber knocked out Russell at 2:40 of the very first round, taking over the top spot in the Heavyweight rankings, and making a statement to the rest of CAGFC. With the rivalry tied at one win a piece, we're sure to see a third fight between these two warriors in the near future. What a war that will be!

To be honest, I didn't even notice that. It was late last night, and I was in a hurry. Matt's right though. The rules in the OP state that fighters must come from career mode (as it prevents people from just rapid adding like 4 guys...and makes you earn their spot). But here's what I'll do for now. whiptcracker, your WW can fill in for this fight, but after this, you've gotta either run him through a career, or remove him. Think of it as calling up an amateur to fill in a spot.

This goes for EVERYBODY else in CAGFC as well. I don't want any more rapid creations just to fill spots. My only reason for adjusting cards to begin with was for people whose systems broke, and only if there was a fighterr not scheduled that week (ie. odd number in weight class)

I'm already apprehensive about people having fighters in 3 weight classes as it creates more chances for fights to not happen, and could just clutter the divisions. I kinda think 3 fighters should be the maximum anyone should have. Let's keep things under control here guys.

I also think you should have to fight at least 2 fights with each fighter before adding another. Granted, that wasn't a written law in the beginning, but I just checked the roster, and basically everyone who has added a 2nd (and even a 3rd in seen's case) fighter has met that criteria. I just don't want things to get out of hand.

EDIT - I've added in new requirements for having multiple fighters in the OP. It's right between the "HOW DO I SIGN UP?" and "WHEN DO I FIGHT?" sections. Obviously, this is something I wish I had thought of before we started, but like I said, most of us were going by it already, and I really just wanted to put it in writing. I think it's a pretty fair policy.

I don't know what exactly you're suggesting about the "free forums", but many of us have been on CAG for years, and we very much like it here. In fact, this screen name was created for the sole purpose of having an overseeing body for the many sports leagues that are run on the site.

Thanks for being cool about it, man. In that case (since I have to break one of my rules either way), I'm going to "grandfather in" TuffGong's WW guy. His original LH fighter has only had 1 fight, but since the WW he just signed up is from a career, it makes more sense to add him permanently, than give your guy one fight, and then make you remove him.

This will give you a chance to start a career in whichever weight division you actually want to be in, and add your new guy whenever he's ready. I hope that sounds good to everybody. I'm tryin to be a diplomat here, haha. :)

I remember you saying initially that you'd have to use a regular created fighter for your first fight, but would replace him after that. I guess I thought you had done that already. You must not be playing the game very much if you still haven't made it very far in your career. And what do you mean by a "bad overall" rating? You can look in the OP and see the reported ratings of all the other fighters in your division. It's up to you if you want on the next card or not.

I wouldn't say 3 will be the limit forever. But until we have a few people demonstrate that they can handle juggling 3 fights a week, it's probably better to not overload every single division. At this point, history tells me that having 3 opponents to get in touch with in a week's time is challenging enough.

Besides, you can still do a career in every weight class (as I plan to so I can get that achievement). Just use your favorites for CAGFC. You can always "retire" a fighter and replace him if you want. I'd just be hard pressed to find cause for an argument that having 3 fights a week isn't "enough".

Thanks for being cool about it, man. In that case (since I have to break one of my rules either way), I'm going to "grandfather in" TuffGong's WW guy. His original LH fighter has only had 1 fight, but since the WW he just signed up is from a career, it makes more sense to add him permanently, than give your guy one fight, and then make you remove him.

This will give you a chance to start a career in whichever weight division you actually want to be in, and add your new guy whenever he's ready. I hope that sounds good to everybody. I'm tryin to be a diplomat here, haha. :)

Manny Pacquiao hails from the Philippines and is a boxing p4p champion who at the advice of his promoter Bob Arum, decided to try to be a champion at 155 which is 15lbs above his natural weight.
Andrew Kennel is a less well known fighter who is currently dominating the CAGFC LW division with 3 successful title defenses. While speaking with some fans ring-side prior to the fight it is rumored he trains with the likes of UFC Champion BJ Penn and Strikeforce Champion Jake Shields.

The fight began with a bang both fighters throwing strikes and exchanging ground control. After the first AK exposed Manny's weaknesses and was able to dominate the round with the GnP. Flash KO is my mortal enemy. Good fight, and I wasn't as dominate as he makes me sound. He slammed me twice, and twice I used rubber guard to gain mount and throw some ground and pound.

And twice he shook me off and the second time I backed off then tried to dart in for a low jab to the stomach....just as he threw a punch. It looked like I practically dove into his fist face first. I had MikeBike on the ground, was in mount and had him rocked and he came back from it, so anyone going after the title beware, if you think you are just about to win the fight don't underestimate him.

Another really good fight. A whole lot of back and forth, especially on the ground. It was my rubber guard against his counters and transitions. In the end I got a surprisingly quick KO from the mount, I wasn't expecting to finish it so quick. Looking forward to a rematch down the road (and lets face it, with 5 WelterWeights in the division it won't take long :lol:).

I'm pretty sure there is no way to exploit the leveling process when going through career mode. That's only a problem with non-career CAFs. Yes, you can still end up with a high rating in career, but you'd have to have perfect, maxed out sparring sessions every single time to get a guy past 100 overall. And I'm fine with fighting guys who are 100 overall and earned it. Nate's a 100; I'm a 93. We had a great fight that went down to the last second.

I'm glad I'm fighting Gary, but it's strange that Moo is fighting the guy right below him and I'm up against the lowest ranked guy in the division (not that that means anything as far as who will win, mind you). Well, other than requiring people to go through the career, I'm not sure how much can be (or needs to be) done. I mean, if somebody wants to go through a career, and only add points to their submission offense/defense, that's up to them. I think many people have discovered that well rounded fighters perform better though. My only other concern would be people using guides for the sole purpose of getting the highest career rating possible.

Right now, our highest rated fighter is 101. My belief is that 10 points is probably the maximum distance for two equally skilled fighters to be separated by, and still have it be a fair fight. So, that puts us in a 91-101 range...which I think is acceptable. To this point, we haven't had problems with anybody trying to exploit the career to create a 108+ fighter. And I hope we won't have those problems. Honestly, anybody playing through the career mode properly should have no problems in CAGFC.

Haha, it's coming man. You guys can't just fight each other every other week. I wanted to test each of you against other opponents before you find your way back to each other again. Plus, I gotta give newer guys opportunities to move up the rankings. The only way to do that is to let them fight you, and make you earn your right to remain a top contender.

The reason for you getting a lower ranked opponent than moo is because you're coming off of back to back losses. But that's not saying anything bad about you because they were against tough opponents (having a fighter's match history under his record really helps me gauge his quality of opponents, which helps in both matchmaking and ranking).

But also, the fighter I matched you up with is no slouch either. If you notice, he's got a 100 rating. So, while it's technically a match against a low ranked opponent, it's also a challenging match up and has potential to be a big win...for either of you.

CAGFC will mimic a real world fighting organization. We use custom fighters that you create in the CAREER portion of the game, and rely on a ranking system based on the fighter's CAGFC record and their overall rating. This allows us to schedule competitive weekly cards, making sure that the right fighters are matched up against each other

No CAFs that aren't made in the career mode. Which would include glitched CAFs. I made the mistake of trying to enter a quick CAF to help out another division when someone couldn't fight and this was pointed out to me as well.

career CAFs only.

Doing Career on Expert right now and it's hard as hell to get any sparring points.

Good fight overall. Not much damage was done to either fighter we were on the ground a lot and negated each other quite a bit. Unfortunately the lag was pretty bad which sucked. I thought I won the 3rd Round but all three judges went 30-27. Moojuice I have never seen anyone as good at catch counters in my short time online, my god I think you took me down 10 times that way.

Wow, a whole page of shit went down while I was out, haha. Let's calm it down guys. I think the reason people are jumping on you, Mr Meaty, is that you don't present a whole lot of maturity in your posts. Again, not trying to be a dick, but your reading comprehension comes off as that of a 12 year old. If you're a kid, that's cool. Nothing wrong with being a kid. All we ask here is that you read through the OP (especially the spoilers at the top) before signing up.

As others have gently and not so gently pointed out to you, haha, we require that you use a career CAF. I know your initial CAF that you signed up was Brandon Adrian. But then with all the talk of your hard drive crashing, and stats for multiple other fighters being posted, I think you lost some credibility. If in fact you will not have a career CAF to participate in the league with (for whatever reason), then just wait until you're ready. There's no rush here. We're not on any kind of schedule, and you can join at any time.

All we ask for is honesty and open lines of communication. You won't impress anybody with your online record. You won't impress anybody with who you've beaten. But you will impress people by making thought out posts, being easy to get in touch with, and being polite and courteous to the other members. That's how we operate here. Let me know when and if you're ready to be a part of that. Again, I apologize if it felt like you were getting ganged up on. I think you were just confusing people more than anything.

Great job getting that fight in guys! That oficially wraps up CAGFC3: FULLY LOADED. I wasn't able to get a replacement for the Tyler Wilson - Jay Gillums matchup, so unfortunately, despite the fact that Wilson's 360 red ringed, he'll have to take a forfeit for that fight. No big deal though, and hopefully, he'll come back even stronger.

CAGFC4: DETONATION is now the main focus! I don't want to point out my own cleverness of titling CAGFC4...DETONATION...but uh... ----> CAGFC4: DETONATION <---- YEAH!!! That's awesome! haha, j/k.

In all seriousness though, these fights will be due by Thursday, 6/25 at 11:59 PM EDT, but I'd appreciate it if you guys could try to get them in a little earlier than that, because I'll have to post the card for CAGFC5 a little early since I'm going out of town. I already had back to back losses prior to this fight so if I was ever hoping to stay anywhere near the title picture I had to win. Zippy brought the fight, threw some wicked kicks and also nearly had me when he switched it up and started throwing some MT clinches in there. But I ended up reversing a throw, gained mount and punching like my CAGFC career depended on it.
