I just stumbled across this on amazon. Looks pretty cool (if expensive), if it works well:

Quad: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026P2QN6/

This is the perfect solution IF it gets favorable reviews.

Unfortunately, it's from Dreamgear, and a quick scan of all of their current charging products are very bad overall.

I've got Eneloops powering all my controllers (including my 360 pads), and if this can somehow be used with those, then I'll gladly take one.

Sanyo actually made something like this and released it in Japan (or is about to or something), but it only charged one controller and was absurdly expensive. Here's hoping this ends up being a worthwhile alternative.

Screw Dreamgear. (http://gear.ign.com/articles/977/977418p1.html) I'm getting this one instead.

Yeah it's more expensive, but I'm guessing it'll work much better, and it has a nice upward aesthetic.

In the end, though, I'll wait for reviews on both and get whichever doesn't kill my wiimotes.

Bumping this because the Energizer solution is now officially out via Amazon. Here also be a review, (http://my.opera.com/nplus/blog/2009/06/18/n-review-wii-energizer-2x-induction-charge-station) where it is stated specifically that WM+ does not hinder charging capability. I've read the review, however, and it doesn't specifically mention how they tested this. In other words, can you keep WM+ on and use it vertically, or do you have to lay everything down horizontally?

Just quick score and pros/cons:

N+ Points

N+ Easy to use
N+ Convenient
N+ Compatible with Wii MotionPlus and the Wii Jacket

N- Points

N- Quite a bit expensive ($49.99)
N- Takes a while to fully charge

JudgmeN+: 9.5

This also means you'll be using included battery packs, which is fine, but I'm already heavily invested in Eneloops, so I'm probably going to hold off until a sale arises.

Yep, I'm invested in Eneloop's as well, though of course I can always find other uses for the Eneloops as they are such great batteries. I'd have about 20 sets of eneloops if I could afford them as I'd use them in anything and everything. Flashlights, remote controls, kids toys, etc. Such great batteries, but a solution like the induction chargers, presuming they work well, is better for Wii remotes.
