LOST

Did anyone catch LOST tonight on TV. The show just ended on the east coast. I thought it was pretty good. I will probably keep watching until they reveal what is on the island. I justed the ABC message board and some people think its a polar bear, which just sounds lame to me. Other people think its a Jurassic Park rip off. Either way there is something on the island that is big and knocks down trees.

Anyway if anyone caught it , post up your thoughts.

It was pretty decent. Beginning was pretty intense, but so what if it's a cliche? If done right, cliches are gold.

Not really... I dunno. I just thought it was odd there was no grim humor. At least not that I saw...

I mean, you know there's gonna be the "scene where nobody geta along." If I was there I'd go, "Hey now, let's not go all 'Lord of the Flies' now. The next step after that is, "Yur mouth sur looks purty' and 'squeal like a pig, boy.' But you know they're gonna do the Lord of the Flies riff eventually.

Then, everyone is all "Lookin' out for himself" That's not how people would generally react. Some would of course, but not everyone.

The man had a gash on his back stiched up by a novice yet in 24 hours he's climbin' up airplanes. Then again, if that was Jack from 24, his heart stopped and he gained a limp so go figure.

Secondly, yeah, I'd be wondering what the hell the "thing" is. But damnit, I'm man. We get enough other men, and enough pointy sticks, and it's goin' down!

As for the thing, I think it's an ardvark. A giant ardvark!

Looked promising at the start but by the end I didn't know what the heck I was watching.
Is this supposed to be the modern day drama version of Gilligan's Island meets Land of the Lost?
No offense to those who liked it but if I wanted to watch a series like this I would turn the channel to Sci Fi network. I'll just stick with CSI or Law & Order at 10.

The guy who created the show was on the radio today. The djs joked with him that the island has dinosaurs. He said no, of course not, but when I saw that guy get smoked by the "monster", I thought dear god please don't tell me it's a dinosaure.

I bet it's some lame ass "Goverment Mutated Chimera". Like most shows on ABC, I think I'm going to pass.

On a side note, has anyone here seen more than 8 secinds of the shitty 10.5 movie? My parents watched it, but I didn't make it past 8 seconds before I went and played Counter-Strike.

its a monster Dog, did you see that brown dog walking around looking at people and look at the dude in the plane he was chew up but was not ate (so you can rule out a dinosaur) it looked like a dog was chewing on the body playing with it.

man if i watch this for 10 weeks and find out its a weak ass monster dog i be soo freaking pissed.


i think its an island where they make monster animals expect to see a 20 foot rabbit first. i hate to be the person with the rabbit foot keychain lol

I'm not into this hero character either. He always seems to know whats going on. Yeah hes a doctor, but he also took flying lessons? Get the hell out. Plus if they need to build a shelter, I'm sure hes going to announce that he was a contractor before and he knows what to do. LAME!

I don't think it will be a polar bear because it'd be easy to kill it with all the people they have. Dinosaurs would be weird. Either way I'm staying far away from this show.
