Ugh horrible. Sony needs to get off the crack. And yes, I know the picture is pre-rendered and not of the actual system, but a video gaming system with a sliding screen is not a good idea. Nevermind, this needs to go in the existing psp 2 thread, because as this says its just rumor-milling.

...just looks like another rumor to me...but at least its slightly different. Anyways, it doesnt seem like anything special...if thats for real, Ill be happy to stick with my current PSP.

Now it all boils down to price. If they want anything over $200, the thing is dead on arrival.

I hope these systems stay below a price point of 300 dollars. Seeing how much an 16GB iTouch can go for, you can only wonder how much Sony will charge for this.

the image shown is not the actual image of the system. Just a mock up picture.

Wow, Sony is seriously off their rocker. A second nub would have been great, and ultimately breathed life into this dying system (a few big games doesn't convert me to a belief that something is happening with it). Also, Why not make the screen flip up or be covered by the buttons, so it doesn't get scratched? Would that have made too much sense or been too logical for them?

We're not getting a second analog nub until the PSP2. You don't just add new control options to a small fraction of your install base of millions.

I think what he's saying is they should've added a second nub (and maybe triggers) and just called it PSP2.

sliding screen and internal storage is a silly reason to get a new device. And going UDM-less should damage existing users... if the same is not supported on the original owners.

Grant it that releasing a psp2 is also silly.
