The ONLY thing worth it is the Max Payne/Mafia pack and Half-Life GOTY edition. Now THAT is working the system. Three games for the price of two, and you still come out with a great selection.. All three are EXTREMELY great titles!

I was thinking that... but it's not the complete Half-Life collection....

Yea, if you look hard enough, you can find the second platinum pack for 20 to 30 bucks. The MP/Mafia pack, and Age of Empires, or Starcraft are all good choices.

I was able to pick up the HL Platinum Pack this summer for around $10 at Target.

Does it really matter? CS and TFC are free downloads, Blue Shift and Opposing Force are utter crap

Dood, how can you call OF crap? It was nearly as good as the original. I'll admit BS was a bit weak, but OF was awesome. And I forgot that with Steam, you can download pretty much every expnsion.

I was going to post this a while back, but I couldn't find two games that would qualify as deal-worthy.

I could be wrong, but I believe one half-life number key grants you access to the whole half-life collection on steam, which is now really the only way to play counter-strike. If you have broadband, and you're willing to install steam, then you'd only need half-life to get access to CS, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, etc.

Max Payne/Mafia and the Starcraft Chest are great deals, I already have the Starcraft chest though.

But, Diablo: LOD is pretty good too... Or, Age of Empires II is good too, same with Lords of the Realm III.

Pretty good choices, not the best, but I would spend 30 on two of those games total, if I didn't already have them.

Missing is another really good game that is normally $19.99. I highly recommend it to anybody.

Mafia and Max Payne are $9.99 each at CompUSA,
and Blizzard games are overpriced/overrated.
