Best Buy has it as a price drop in next week's ad and $10 off, it'll be $30 next week.

I called. Some store 200 miles away from me has the LE and it is still 69.99. A massive ripoff still as far as LEs go if it wasn't for the fact dumbasses pay a shitload of money for the DLC.

After Target clearance them out, anything higher than $20 is a ripoff.

Kind of tough to say, considering the game itself is still $40. Not everyone gets in on clearance deals.

Good deal if you ask me. I bought it at full price and enjoyed the game very much. It's a fun game even when you're done with the story line. I just enjoyed going around, shooting things, leveling up and buying houses. The fun came to an end though. I'll be renting it for the DLC sometime in the summer.

Just wait for the 360 Elite bundle that comes with Fable 2 and Halo 3. Once the flood of used copies hits the price of Fable 2 on ebay and Gamestop will drop fast.

My GameStop had a really ugly looking used copy that had collectors edition coverart, I ended up passing because the manual was missing and no codes and by the way the case looked I figured the discs might not look good either.

That's a good point. I was thinking about picking it up for $30, but it might be worth waiting a few months extra.

I somehow doubt it. It seems like those bundles aren't going to be rather limited compared to the Marvel/Forza and Lego Indi/Kung Fu Panda bundles, though I could be wrong. After all, the RE5 bundle did virtually nothing to RE5's value.

The RE5 bundle was a limited edition sku. This is the new regular sku for the elite. The price on a used copy of Fable 2 will drop dramatically in the next few months. Under $15, trust me.

Yeah, that definitely isn't a limited-edition SKU. Seems like that is going to be the Elite SKU for awhile, now. But, I don't think the market is going to be flooded with copies like MUA/Forza 2 or Lego Indy/Panda, because you don't have the Pro SKU there, too. It's just Elite. You might see a drop, but I don't think the bottom will fall out like those other games.
