DS Headset worth it?

So I got the DSi at launch and thinking of the new/possible DSi specific games (i.e. camera control, memory, better online) and if the DS Headset would be worth getting. I can get the headset for about $8 new and need help or convincing to get it (yeah i know for $8, quit bitching 'bout it. but hey CAG I am)

Also are there any DS games that use the damn thing anyways besides Pokemon Diamond/Pearl (and I assume Platinum)?

I did not like the official DS headset at all...way too uncomfortable. I have a pair of these: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efd2/home.aspx ...and they're much, much better.

I use it more for the headphones than the mic. But it's great when a mic is required. I have a DSL, but I'm assuming the DSi headset connection is the same.

I played Platinum a lot and never really talked to anyone online (if I did it was through vent or ts) since we have to have the comp on to get FCs
