make sure you use a return receipt or whatever its called
so you know it gets there.
and he cant say he never got it.
i would also wait until his/her payment clears before sending it out.
there are others on here who are better at this then myself so they will give you more help. :)
good luck

make sure you have a delivery confirmation number. its generally easier to just print and ship it online through paypal. i mean they force delviery confirmation on you, but in this case since you are selling to a new seller, its better to have delivery confirmation, but you normally want it anyways.
0 feedback is fine. once their payment is sent and is in your account, the buyer cant cancel it anyways. just immediately transfer it out, and then send out your package with delivery confirmation and etc. if it arrives, etc etc, and they leave you a negative feedback as far as misrepresented and so on, or never arrived, you could always have eBay remove the feedback as long as you have a case, which if you listed it correctly, should be no problem.
I have had only had 1 feedback removed because the seller got pissed he paid too much for the game and wanted a partial refund. he tried to say his game didnt arrive, lol.

Delivery confirmation is a must, you might even want to get signature confirmation, but I think that is pricey. Might save a lot headaches if the buyer decides to file a dispute on Paypal. eBay is just too risky these days. I use Craigslist for items like that (selling a ps2).

Delivery confirmation is generally enough for eBay. Amazon needs a signature confirmation normally I believe, but I dont sell on Amazon much.

Since it's a new buyer I would email them before shipping to make sure that they read the listing and that they just bought a broken PS2. Do this through Ebay's communication system. Once you hear back that they know this then ship the item.

Always use Delivery Confirmation. Since it's only $30 I wouldn't bother with signature confirmation, or even insurance for that matter.
That said, regarding your situation I see two potential things you can do:
1) Like the above poster says, you can send them a message before shipping to make sure they realize they bought a broken PS2. If by chance they did NOT notice it was broken and want to cancel, you can do a mutual agreement to withdrawl, and put it up for sale again with no major inconvienence.
2) Or you can just ship it out (with delivery confirmation, as mentioned), and when/if they write you saying "hey this is broken" you can show them the auction description. There's a chance that they won't know how ebay works, which may just spare you the hassle of removing a negative feedback or having to deal with a return.
This is just my personal opinion, but I would stick with the first option... if only beacuse it'll save you a good deal of annoyance. I can't help but feel that this buyer doesn't realize it's a broken PS2, and will just cause a headache. I had a cursed copy of Lost Season 1 which was missing the 5th disc that I sold, and subsequently had returned to me THREE times, each time because the buyer(all relatively new) didn't read the VERY FIRST sentence prominently stating "please note that disc 5 is not included". Another example would be this one ebay store that sells cases and manuals that I always buy from... their feedback page is littered with negatives saying things like "where's the game disc?", even though they mention no game is included in the title and MUTLIPLE times in the listing. They even have a friggin audio clip that says "please remember this is the box and manual only etc etc"!
