Tickets to Six Flags, New Jersey - Any deals/discounts?

My friends and I plan on going for May 22. Are there any coupons or anything floating around?

The Port Authority has some package deal where you get the tickets plus the bus fare at a discount... im sure a quick google with yield soem results.

Also, look into the flash pass. I went last summer, and all my friends and I got the flash pass, and we went on a total of 22 rides, most notably 3 times on king da ka, 3 times on el toro, and 3 times on Nitro.

I'm done with Six Flags in Jackson. All they do is nickel and dime you to death now. Kingda Ka is awesome, only in front car though. Kind of done with it though as I've been on it a bunch

I went the other week - couldn't find any deals. But i expensed it at work, so didn't matter too much.

Even if Six Flags goes bankrupt, no way will Great Adventure close. Another company will buy it. It is one of the top parks in the chain.

If you go on a slow day you can get on everything without flashpass. I went Friday night, I got on 24 rides in less than 5 hours including riding Nitro 10 times and Kingda Ka 3 times. So far during the week this season hasn't been that crowded. I have gone 5 times so far and never waited more than 25 minutes for anything, most of the time waits were under 10 minutes.

I agree about the nickel and diming, the mandatory lockers are horrible. I have a season pass so it isn't so bad (parking is $15 - $25 for 1 day without a parking pass!), I just don't buy food in the park and go to WaWa instead. Other stuff they do is stupid too, they are marketing Bizarro as a new coaster. It is just Medusa which is painted blue and themed to Bizarro with some special effects (it opens around Memorial Day).
