Im looking for a cheap gas or electric lawn mower. I would prefer a self-propelled, but on the other hand I can do a push since I'll back yard (the only place that has grass) is small.

Suggestions? Ideas? Deals?

I was looking at a deal on Amazon from SD an electric one

Craigslist. There are lots of folks out there who repair broken lawn mowers and resell them cheap.

Lots of people forget to empty the gas and let them sit over winter, and then they won't run, or they don't do basic maintenance like new plugs, and air filter, and oil changes. U can go riskier and check the your local dump for a mower that doesn't work and fix it yourself, but for a quick purchase, just peruse the ads on Craigslist, or even the newspaper in your area and I am sure you will find one.

I just picked up a good, repaired Craftsman mulcher for about $75. With new mowers costing about $165, $75 is a good gamble, especially if u find someone who is reputable.

Excellent advice OP. My uncle used to repair mowers he picked up for free that were an easy fix and sold them for well under cost. He was great at it too.
