Hey out there, I'm trying to get my hands on an original box of Nintendo cereal, circa 1987ish. If anyone knows where I can get one, please post a reply! Thanks.

I think you'll have more luck finding that box of cereal in your alley.

wow, does that ever bring back memories.
I'd maybe check flea markets or gaming shows. I'm not sure if they'll have the actual cereal.
Otherwise, its find a time machine and go back to Shaws in Nashau, NH in the late 80's.

I got a Cal Ripken wheaties misprint box.
Another one exactly like it sold for $300 on eBay!
Its many years past the expiration date, though.

X-entertainment.com has reviews of old ass cereals like TMNT and Nintendo. The guy actually opens the box and eats some, or at least takes a whiff of the 20 year old fungus on the cereal. Its pretty funny.

I don't know where to find the cereal, but this commercial (http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0751/nescereal.mpeg) may bring some memories to those old enough to remember.

You obviously don't know what you are talking about... Mario and Zelda cereals were in seperate bags in the same box.

Wow, I love watching old 80's commercials. I can just barely remember that commercial. The cheesiness is too funny. I remember the box though... Definitely a cool collector's item! Good luck to whoever's searching for one.

You'd probably have better luck finding the mario animation cels from the commercial than a box itself.
(side note: I've got a few of the cells from the Donkey Kong cereal commercial, and still no box)

Yeh ok, you feel secure about yourself now? You know more about some esoteric box of cereal than I do, congratz. :D
You obviously didn't take sarcasm in high school.

Obviously you did take sarcasm but failed miserably.
Here's hoping you pour out a bowl to eat out of one of those dozen bags you found :)

I bet that vintage cereal wouldn't taste so good... unless you like that stale texture. :P

I'd agree, magilacudy.
He tries so hard to be sarcastic, but doesn't seem to grasp the need for irony or the possess then necessary wit to bandy about the bon mots.

I would think the almost exponentially large number of generations of mealworms that have made that cereal thier home would offset that stale taste just a bit.

Well, I'm glad that ended up better that I thought.
I was worried that someone would say that they wanted a Tanooki leaf, so that everytime they entered a specfic combination they'd get stoned.

I was about to say that but I couldn't remember the name of the leaf. Plus we're a family friendly site, no leaves, no getting stoned and definitely no ass.
