Arkanoid has good graphics and plays very well.
Two of the Achievements are annoying - both for beating 30 stages in a row without continuing. The rest are doable though the descriptions on a couple are ridiculously vague.
The best feature of the game is offline and online co-op and versus for 2 players. If you enjoy Arkanoid (or the Breakout clone genre) at all, it's a must-buy.

Though it makes me wish I still has this on my DS and the paddle, this version is fun though it takes a bit to get comfortable with moving fast (it uses the bumper buttons). I do wish that they would have sold the full game though. Episodes 3 & 4 are going to be DLC in the future. Kinda wish I would have waited to buy it before I found that out

I like Arkanoid, but I can't imagine playing it with the pad. I'll at least try the demo.

Nice, 400 point DLC mayhaps ?
So now MS are hiding the 1200 point games by splitting them up? I think I'll spend the rest of the points I have left and just forget about XBLA.

Is each episode exactly 30 levels long?

Okay, played it a lot more. You get 62 total levels, which coupled with the multiplayer is a good value IMO.
Sadly player 2 in local games does not earn Achievements.

It's for finishing those levels without continuing, not finishing them without dying. Still pretty difficult, but on my first run I got to 28 before I had to continue. Something to shoot for, I guess.

I played the trial version last night and I started off really liking it, but after a few levels I was finding it a bit boring. I can't really put my finger on it but they've lost the feel of the old Arkanoid a bit I think.
Decided against buying it in the end.
