Haha. This game is worth it though people, excellent RPG, in contention for RPG of the year IMO.

I'm about 4 hours into it and it is pretty boring. SO far it is the usual "gotta save the world with my friends" type of game. Does it get better or should I trade it in and get Fable?

Good deal. If you don't already have this - buy it now. It is Gamecube's best RPG and one of the best RPGs to come out this year. I grabbed it for $40 the day it came out (thanks to a TRU coupon) and haven't regretted it at all.

I liked it from the beginning, but it definitely gets better. I wouldn't trade it in to get Fable because, IMO, Fable isn't that great. Plus, TOS is at least 5 or 6 times as long as Fable the first time through. Where are you in the game right now?

I am at the part where someone has been impersonating the "chosen one" (collette) and I have to get a book back. I don't know, for me it's not about the length of the game. I want a game to be interesting even if it's short. From what I've played of Fable, it rocks. I can always keep this AND get Fable, I just want to know if the story gets better anytime soon.

Well, regardless if the game is good or not, what's the shipping/tax sitch over there at tampoo?
Worst name for a game website ever, I must add. It just makes me think of too many other things...

The plot takes a MAJOR turn for the better at approximately 15 hours--you've got to play up through that point at least, as the beginning is almost deliberately cliche... trust me, it's worth it....

Shipping starts at $3.69 for one game. I checked their website and couldn't find any info on sales tax so I'm guessing they don't charge any.

Thanks for the deal and the additional info. I was just being lazy in not checking the shipping myself.
Now, do I have 40-60 hours to waste on this game? Hmmmm.....

You're in the absolute worst part of the game right now. Trust me, it gets better.
