Our friend Matt Casamassina comes back with two teases for today. One is a tiny blurb, which you can find below.
Craig saw something the other day that makes a nerd like me happy, even if it is not an epic development.
The second tease is much more juicy, and it comes in two parts. First up, a blurb from Bozon…
“You and I (and now everyone, since I’m typing this) know there are more than one of these hardcore-centric games out there. Await my response just as soon as I get the “ok” from one of the devs…”
And now Casamassina jumps in again. It’s a Wii-exclusive game, and apparently it’s aimed at the Mature audience. According to Matt, this game will be revealed ‘during the E3 time frame’. No word on who is doing it, or anything else for that matter! All we get is a blurry screen.

I'm more than a little dumbfounded. :-k But everyone part of me is screaming and hoping it has something to do with a new Kid Icarus!

If Microsoft didn't have exclusive right with Rare games, I would say that it looks very much like a new Killer Instinct.

But then again, Nintendo let Viva Pinata appear on the DS.. perhaps Microsoft is allowing a new KI on the Wii? Rare also developed Viva Pinata.. Hmm.

/edit: The more I look at it, the more I see KI. I'm going to go with Killer Instinct, final answer.

So it's just a generic piece of artwork at the moment.

I was sort of hoping it was Castlevania related, since it looked like the NES Simon Belmont from back in the day, but I knew that was a pipe dream.
