How often have they been adding new songs? Getting the Green Day pack for free would be fantastic, but I'm not sure if I want to wait weeks or months on the off chance they might add it down the road.

Make sure you are entering it correctly.

I purchased 25 codes on eBay. I went 22/22 on winning Rock Band songs and 0/3 on trying to win the bundle. It seems it is rather impossible to not win any songs.

I got 100 caps for $50. That works out to .50 cents a cap. When it came in the mail, it was 110 caps- and my friend is splitting the cost with me. 55 caps for 25. That works out to be $100 for only $25!

Since I am using 90% on my Wii, it is practically free Wii points. I already bought every great/good game on the service, and over 50 to spare. i wont buy any more caps, but I have been looking. I don't think they can. Nintendo doesn't let you download content by putting in a code. I think almost all Wii promos that revolve around content gives you points.

I hope they update the site soon, since after cashing in the 16 codes I had, I'm pretty much done with DLC I actually want (and don't have). Guess it'll be Wii points from then on.

Any ideas why these particular songs were chosen, by the way? It's weird that we get the brand new Green Day pack a day or two after it comes out, yet we have no Spinal Tap songs as of yet. What's really bizarre is the partial packs, like the Nirvana pack. This isn't really a complaint, cause free is free, but if they aren't going to put up the rest of the Nirvana pack, I might as well just grab the pack with points and use the codes for random single songs, so it'd be nice to know.

I think that I finally will have a steady source of caps. The owner of hte local pawn shop drink Pepsi like a religion and I asked him what he does with the caps. He said he throws them away. I told him I'd take them and he asked what was in it for him. I offered him $0.25 a cap so I'll hopefully be stocking up some caps soon for some of the good wiiware titles.

I don't think theres a limit on how many you can do per week. I believe theres a limit of 1000 cap codes per yahoo account though. Currently 121/121 here and never had a problem entering the codes in.

Just a thought, but you might want to try re-downloading them from inside the rockband game from the music store. THat way you canssee if they show up as songs to purchase even in RB1.

Follow-up: it looks like there may be a daily limit on PS3 code redemptions. I tried my non-valid codes again today and they worked fine. Yeah I love that they keep adding new songs to the list, so I'm going to hold many of these codes until September 30th and hope that there are many new songs that are to my liking. I have to say, this is by FAR the best promo for a soft drink I've ever seen.

I bought 200 caps from eBay for about $90 after Bing cashback and the eBay cashback. On top of that the seller threw in about 20 extra caps, so that amounts to less than 50 cents per cap. I buy loads of DLC from Rock Band normally, so 50 cents instead of 1.99 per song is great! On top of that I didn't have to drink loads of Pepsi!

I was also 0/4 trying for the PS3 RB2 bundle. =(

so you've been getting them for like other systems??? Because getting the songs for the wii is like the same except you don't actually spend the wii points they give you.

When you select a song for wii, they just give you a e-card for 200 points. Use it whatever way you want. It's free points.

Hopefully get enough by the end of the promotion to NEVER buy another card again.

Not sure if the PS3 is the same way, but on my 360 i had the same problem. 9 of my dlc songs showed up but the other 20 didn't. Found out it was because I had been unplugging my network cable before starting rock band. When I stayed online and started up rock band it downloaded an update and then all my songs were playable.

I'm so envious of you guys that have places where you can dumpster dive for free caps. On the weekend I went to the OC fair (a county fair in SoCal) and they only sold Pepsi products. From what I could see they had the bottles with the yellow caps as well as these large Pepsi cups with a little sticker that you could rip off with a code on it (first time I've seen that anywhere). However, people must hate Pepsi or something because I could not find a single cap looking into the trashcans. Granted, I didn't dig into them, so I could only see what was on the surface.

In the St Louis area I have only seen the red caps, none of the yellow at all. I cant complain tho because I am 15/15 with the caps so I am happy. Anyway to answer your question ive used most of my B1G1 caps at any local gas station/liquor store. Most (around 80%) of gas stations accept them, but sometimes you will run across one that will refuse to take it because "Pepsi ripped them off before" or something. I guess Pepsi wouldn't pay them back on the caps. You will most likely still have to pay the tax on the free soda too. Anyway give a local gas station a try.....could be YMMV tho depending on which gas station you deal with.

The gas station by me (Phillips 66 in Illinois) charged me 1.80 something for both of the sodas after using the BOGO cap. I asked why it was so much because they were marked at 1.39 a piece and the cashier said that you still have to pay tax on the second soda. So as I said in my original post....YMMV on having to pay tax. All gas stations (or states) arent created equal after all. Just make sure you take an extra quarter in with ya and you should be alright.

I deliver medical supplies for a living and if I spot a bottle with a cap still on it I always pull over and get it if I am able to. Doing this got me over 500 Mountain Dew caps when they were doing the "360 every 10 minutes contest" and ended up getting me a free 360.

As for finding the caps, the only place I've seen them 'round these parts are on the 20oz bottles at some corner stores. I've yet to find the mythical 6-pack or 2-liter with the caps.

They have yellow or red caps with one of the Rock Band instrument logos printed on the top.

The Pepsi bottles will *NOT BE MARKED ON THE LABLE*... the caps will be *RED OR YELLOW* and feature one of the four Rock Band instrument icons. That is the only indicator of the promotion.

On the plus side, it's easy to tell very quickly which Pepsi bottles won't have codes, since they normally have dark blue caps.

As has been said, caps can be red or yellow - I've never seen the yellow caps in person though, only online.

Caps can be found "under specially-marked bottle caps of 20 oz and 1 liter Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Caffeine Free Pepsi, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi, Pepsi One, Wild Cherry Pepsi, Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi Lime, Pepsi Lime, Diet Pepsi Lemon, Diet Sierra Mist." Keep hope alive. Im in St Louis and I just started seeing them at work/school around 2 weeks ago and i'm now 30/30 on DLC. Good thing I didn't buy Final Fantasy IV - The After Years when it first came out cuz I just got it for free thanks to these caps! Keep your eyes open, they will show up eventually.

Last day of my class, and I only hauled in another 5 caps. 22/22 on songs. 0/2 on the RB bundle. And I have 4 points just sitting in my account. I'm guessing the odds of winning a bundle aren't very good, so I'm waiting to see if they rotate some more songs through the list.

Yeah, I guess it's against the rules to sell just the codes. Some seem to be getting around it by either packaging the codes with something else like a shirt or a keychain. Others are stating that they're charging for their time and effort, not the codes themselves. I'm sure the ones that did get pulled are going to pop back up trying one of these methods. Or you could always keep an eye out for a "buy it now" lot and nab it before it gets pulled down.

It is very hit and miss. As of now- there is no time table for DLC to come out on.

Don't think there is, I've put in 6-12 codes at a time before and haven't had any problems. Only time I've gotten an error is when I misread a number, sometimes the 5 looks like a 6 to me if I'm looking at it from the page after picking the song/code.

I notice sometimes I would get a error sometimes when i try to redeem codes, all i had to do was type it again & it worked. I redeemed like 50 wii codes today, my dsi & wii will have hella points. this promotion is awesome. I lost a couple of points at first because I was entering the rock band special bundle instead of the downloadable track point game.

How do you get the Wii points? I got a few songs on my 360 already, but am curious as to where you are finding the Wii points. When you pick a song, does it just give you points because there is no out of game Wii Rock Band store?
