At the begining of the promotion I was very active, until the time that the Wii Points ran out for the first time.

I guess that is true, that I used a lot of codes myself- but my area is currently lacking in yellow caps. I recently picked up a DSi as well, so I was trying to get as many points on it as possible.

You are right that at the begining of the contest, I was very active. As time went on- my activity with the contest slowed down.

Honestly, I can't blame anyone for doing anything but redeeming as many as they can when they can. If you don't make it in time to redeem your Wii points because they got them all first, it isn't their fault. It isn't even your fault; it's Pepsi's (well, whoever runs the contest for them, rather...are they the "Young America" I was hearing of earlier?).

Don't get me wrong, even with the problems this has been an AMAZING promotion, but the Wii points issue here in the last month or so is pretty pathetic. I realize that more people bought points than they expected, so they ran out, but it never should have happened a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time. After restocking the first time, they should have already been getting more in the background in preparation for when they ran out again, considering they knew that demand was high, instead of waiting until they run out and then taking a week to acquire more.

I know that many of us have received an awesome share of goodies from this IWG, but I really hope that they keep well stocked for the end of the month, because it would be a shame if someone new to the contest buys a lot of Pepsi just because of this promotion and doesn't get a chance to redeem them for points for their Wii, which could be their only console, because the points aren't sufficiently stocked. If I were that person I just made up, I'd be pretty angry. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. *suspense*

I just won one out of one about 25 minutes ago. Looking back, and including this win, I've had a 161 out of 224 record (no, I didn't buy 224 pepsis, though a percentage were actual pepsis). You dang skippy! I just cashed in my last 50 caps (Won on all of them by the way). Then immediately turned around and got all Wii points for them. I've been waiting for them to restock them for a while now since I missed the last restock due to being on vacation. After everything was all said and done I ended up with a total win ratio of 178/206. Not too shabby. Best Pepsi Promotion EVER. Next time lets hope that we can abuse Microsoft for MS points instead!

Your best bet is to call their phone support line every 3-4 days regarding it, as prize info tends to take a week or more to get into the system, or so I was told.

If instant wins don't work, I wanted to throw one song request out there, if anyone's got a song they don't plan on using. I'd like Papa Roach's "Last Resort." It's probably a long shot, but I think that's the last song off the site I was really looking for. Wouldn't be the end of the world if I don't get it, but it never hurts to try, right?

I did get replies to both, and it was the EXACT same email:

Mind you, in the second email, i never mentioned codes - I only asked if the promo ended early since the options to play were, at the time, not working.

I lost a total of ten points to the error. Throughout the day, I tried playing the instants - but I haven't won a song in about 48 hours.

I ended up dumping the rest of my points into the sweepstakes - the camera, actually. I figured everyone else would be going for the Beatles bundle and the 360.

Since nobody's winning and I doubt that's going to change, I threw my last three codes into the Beatles bundle sweepstakes. I know I probably won't win, but it's better than just wasting them on instant win prizes that no longer exist.

But, I went the other way because I have so little HDD space left and I figured I'd just bank up the Wii points since I hate buying them when I get the urge the play something old school. Whereas, I'm okay with buying MS Points for RB or whatever. I think it's just the variety of options that the Wii points gave, versus being tied to a particular song download.

Well the T&C are clearly stated, you can only play your codes for the rest of the night, but you can still redeem your wins until September 30th.

If you are that worried about getting ripped off then go ahead and redeem all your wins today, but I think you are safe to wait. I agree that there will not be anymore songs added though.

Don't want to do any serious math, cause I'm off to bed, but I went through 695 points. Besides a lot of songs I already had, i now have ALL of the offered 360 Rock Band songs. Besides that, I maxed out my Wii and DS with 20,000 points each, and I still have something like 15,000 codes I haven't inputted into anything because I haven't sat down to figure out what I want to spend them on.

My total cost for all of that was somewhere on the HIGH side of maybe 150.00 - I bought 500 codes for 80 bucks, the rest came other ebay purchases and random pepsi's here and there. Overall, best contest ever!

Aside from all my Wii points wins, I decided to take a chance/do an experiment, and I put 244 entries in to the 360 console drawing this week. I paid $70 for something like 250 caps on ebay, and put 244 of those toward the console. The other 6, plus 4 from pepsis I bought I put toward and won Wii points, to cut my losses slightly. For some reason when I went to cash them in I ended up with an 11th winning entry (used the back button after cashing in the first, and got to do that 10 times.) So I must have had one I'd never cashed in that was hidden away in there. Anyway, I figured it was worth a shot. If I win one of the 360's on offer this time I'll have gotten myself an uber-cheap 360. If I lose... well, I won't tell me wife about it. :)

I had this problem last night. I redeemed 16 codes for PS3 songs after 12am EST, and none of the codes would be accepted on the PS Store. I checked all of them 1 by 1.

I emailed Yahoo about it, but I got a canned response about contacting EA if I didn't know how to enter codes correctly.

I tried the codes again this morning and everything worked perfectly. I would suggest you just keep trying the codes.

Are you going to the site to redeem them or are you inputting them on the xbox itself? I've had a problem with a code that was not related at all to this contest by using the site but haven't tried it yet on my Xbox. May be worth checking it out.

Ugh! I got all the PS3 songs I wanted fairly early then dumped the rest of my wins into Wii points right before they added the last batch of songs. So I bought a last minute set of codes on ebay which I tried on the last day when none were winning DLC. Ended up throwing them into Beatles bundle entries which will probably lose since I'm sure a lot of people had to do that.

Are Wii codes still available because I probably got way more than I need. If anyone has extra unredeemed wins left that they want Wii points for I'd trade some of my extra Wii point codes for codes to some of the new PS3 songs I didn't get.

Yeah. I'm a rock band addict and now Beatles addict, so I go to all the related forums. Not a single person has claimed a Beatles bundle yet. You would figure at least 1 person would post they've won. Especially since the people who put a lot of points into the bundle have been here and at the official forums. By now, they should have given away 400. I myself entered 55 points into the bundle, so you know I'm very interested and keeping track.

The only new conversations at the forums seem to be of people having issues redeeming tracks now that the contest has ended. Nothing on the Beatles bundle.

It is odd that we aren't hearing much on the weekly drawings but who knows how pepsi handled this. I remember it was better to not put in all of your points at the same time for every10minutes, maybe pepsi tries to not pick the people who dump a whole lot in. Yes, but why wait? Given that people had some trouble redeeming the codes immediately after the "ending" on the 14th (the last day where you could enter codes from lids), you might get screwed if you wait that long. Even with the controller, it doesn't take that long. It's your call, though. :-s
