Pepsi's "Drink up, Rock out" promotion - Win DLC and Games! STARTS JUNE 2ND!

Figured I'd post this since it was just announced today. This gives everybody an opportunity to get ready for another Pepsi promotion!

During the promotion, MTV and Pepsi will give away a Rock Band?2 Special Edition bundle every hour and thousands of Rock Band downloadable tracks each day. Additionally, fans can enter a weekly sweepstakes for opportunities to win a trip to a Harrah's Entertainment property, Xbox 360 Consoles and other great prizes.

If you're getting the tracks for XBOX then you can login to xbox.com and scroll through the Rockband tracks to see what you have already purchased and they will be marked as such.

Oh man. I haven't been able to come on CAG in a while, I'm so happy I saw this thread last night. I just started working back at a Target and we carry these bottles. I'm 2/2 so far, (1 pepsi bought, 1 from employee break room recycling bin which is always clean ^_^) although I wish I could have looked through the recycling bin more. However, since there were other people around and I didn't want to look like a scavenger, I only took the cap off one bottle that was right at the very top and acted as if it was from the bottle I had just thrown out.

I have had 0 dlc so far as I just didn't have the money, but this promotion is really sweet (no pun intended). Looking through the tracklist, I think there's about 25 tracks that I want from known songs/artists. Wekk, 2 down, 23 to go!

Ran my first set of codes for the promotions today. 2/2 on the downloadable songs. I actually think the odds on winning the songs will maintain fairly strong. I can see alot of people using their codes for some of the larger prizes.

Either that or everyone will start using the codes for the songs instead of the other drawing and those will actually not be as hard to win as they should be.

Same number I just hit, 16 in a row (and overall). I think the promise of 5,000 songs a day + the seemingly limited availability of these caps are making this an easy game to win, odds-wise. Unfortunately, after taxes, my Pepsi Cap ends up costing $1.58. Just a tad cheaper than buying the song outright, but I do get a tasty beverage to go with it. I do want to stock up, though, because, it still saves me about 20 percent per song, as long as I'm winning.

Im not sure what happened. I entered my code, one a free track, didn't choose my song. Few days later, enter another code, went and redeemed Blink 182's Damn It. Now, in my account view, it shows two codes, one of them is the blink code and the other i'm not sure.

So does that mean if we rack up say 5 codes and then on the 6th code we decided on song "ABC", will the other 5 credits be the "ABC" song?

Well, my faithful 7-11 now has a supply of Pepsi products with the RB caps. I'm now 4/4 for songs. Just added Styx - Blue Collar Man to my DLC. Just for clarification, can you still cash in on songs if you win the bundle? There's plenty of DLC that I never bought so I don't want to lose out on that opportunity, but a RB2 ES Bundle would be nice.

edit: 5 for 5, as I add Styx - Renegade to my queue. Just found out you can redeem these things instantly at xbox.com so I don't have to keep notes on which songs I already have. This is shaping up nicely, as I'll pick up a Diet Pepsi everyday for lunch and reap the rewards.

You can use the same Yahoo user ID to enter all your codes at pepsi.yahoo.com/rockband. The yellow caps are found on 20oz and 1 liter bottles of pepsi and diet pepsi. You just enter the code under the cap and you can redeem them. When choosing a downloadable track make sure you pick which system you want, otherwise you will have the specific song you want and it will be xbox 360 when you want it for PS3.

Well, today I bought five 20oz. Pepsis and got 5 codes. They were all winners (shocking, I know) so I redeemed them for 1000 Wii Points.

Now the reason I bought 5 Pepsis today was so I could buy a game on Virtual Console and get the last 10 coins I need (I have 290) on Club Nintendo to become an "Elite Member" and get a free gift in the fall. Today is the last day to get to 300 coins on Club Nintendo before they reset. So I bought Mega Man 9 and went on Club Nintendo to see that my coins weren't there. Come to find out, MM9 is not an eligible title for coins and even if it were, I wouldn't get them for another 3-4 weeks.

I would have just gotten 5 more Rock Band songs for Xbox 360 had I known all of this before hand. So I guess I'll just try to enjoy MM9 and think about how it only cost me $6.00 for five 20oz sodas and 1000 Wii Points.

But so far I'm 15/15. Speedway sells 20oz sodas 2 for $2.22. I think after I get the other 6 songs on my list, I'm going to call it quits. Not a big Pepsi drinker and I usually stick to 2-Liters of Diet Mtn. Dew.

They're definitely all over the place now. They should be yellow caps. I pick one up at Target (Shoreview) whenever I go out to check clearance games/get groceries and they've been there the last two weeks. The Super America station down Lexington (Roseville, near the library) has them too. They had them 2/$2.22 but accidentally charged me for only one bottle.

Hess gas stations have a promo on bottled drinks. It's 3 for $3.33. You can mix and match brands. Of course for the sake of this contest Pepsi is one of the brands.

How often have they been adding new songs? Getting the Green Day pack for free would be fantastic, but I'm not sure if I want to wait weeks or months on the off chance they might add it down the road.
