I have had this laptop for about a year and I haven't had to many problems with it. I upgraded the ram to 4GB and had to have the dvd drive and motherboard both replaced within the last month. The laptop works perfectly fine but for the past few days, when I hit the power button my laptop will turn on for a few seconds then shut off. If I hit the power button then hit the dvd eject button the laptop powers up just fine.
If you have had any experience with the XPS line of laptops then you know that during boot up the dvd drive will boot up too. So I assume these two things are connected in some way. Any help would be appreciated. I can't find anything on google
