lol no its not sad, but i dont think it is the case or he would have asked for the 60 gb or elite. i came to the conclusion of the gift idea because i saw a add on craigslist right after i traded mine in at gamestop.

pretty sure he got the 360 after

The kid peeked and saw it early, so his mom changed it out real fast. He got the console a little later.

If you don't have the original box why don't you just get another box about the size of the 360?

I definitely have one, and I might even know where it is.

Do you really think having the box will impact the value all that much?

I'll check to see if I have mine handy.

i want it to look professional. i feel like if i put it on ebay with a pic of some shitty box pple will think its broken or something and i wnt get as much. I didnt think itd be this difficult just to get an empty box. Id pay $15 for one

So take a picture of just the console outside the box then. I know when I ship stuff I don't take a picture of it in what it's going to be shipped in.

It makes sense if you bought a used console i guess, but i think if you just take the picture of the console and all the stuff together no box at all shown you will get as much out of it. You cant say its new or anything anyways so it shouldnt make a difference.

I still have my box as well, in my closet. Just my 2 cents, but I would just save the money of buying someone else's box and shipping, and just spend a fraction of that money paying for bubble wrapping for the console and accessories. You can use a stock picture for the xbox, and use pictures of everything outside lined up. I'm sure no one cares anyway, they just want the console and extras.

I concur with the people telling you to not worry about it. As someone who opens all the cases at Gamestop to make sure the condition of the instructions are to my liking, I can appreciate you wanting it to look nice, but, at the end of the day, it's not really going to affect your resale value, so it would be extra silly to spend money on one.

that's alright, i look at the condition of the case too, like the plastic on the outside if buying a game from gamestop...i don't like when it's sliced up or got imperfections...
