I'm trying to help my brother in law get a PS3. What is the best deal he can get? What do I need to tell him to do to get it?

Are all of the Sony Card deals dead now? I know there was up to $300 off the price of a PS3 with various 'deals' where you had to carry a certain balance or something on the card in order to get the credits.

Yeah I saw that one with the Sony Card. I don't think he would be willing to put the 3k or so on the card to get the credits. He is pretty conservative about that sort of stuff.

Actually, there was an offer from the Sony card a while back that I think offered $100-200 off for just buying a PS3 using the card or something similar. However, that deal was last year sometime, so it's been gone for a LOOOOONG time now.

dell seems to have a good coupon quite a bit. That would your best bet I assume.
