Great. I ordered this game and now I got an email saying it's back-ordered. They said if it's not re-stocked after 30 days, they'll cancel my order. Looks like I'll just return my $50 copy and take my luck with this $20 one.

Did anyone else have problems ordering this game?

I doubt Playstation.com will cancel ALL these orders. Maybe some of the back order ones, but definately not all. They made great business with this deal, and sold probably sold tens of thousands due to this deal. If they cancel and list them for like 40 or 50 bucks, no ones going to buy. Most people wouldn't shop there again because of the mistake. I know I wouldn't. Have hope guys :).

I heard from another post that priority mail takes 1-2 days most of the time and 3 days latest? Also, isnt the reason priority mail slow sometimes because people arent using it and the trucks aren't getting loaded up? i applaude you for that, since in this society our childrens minds often corrupt too fast, but what can i say, its just a word, and as far the the "big and bold"-ness of the word, the word is yellow on a tan-ish background in a fairly slender font. yes the font size is large, but the color distracts from it and there is no boldness to it. its not emphasized at all.

Actually, I thought the "F word" was filtered out because it was so rampant in the forums it was causing search engines to mis-categorize the site.

I hate to bring this up, but Sub Rebellion may have shipped because it probably was not mis-priced. TRU has it on Amazon for 14.98, heck EBgames.com sells it used for $8.99 before discounts, so $20.94 new is not outside the realm of possibility. I still hope we get the games, but I will feel more comfortable when someone gets a "shipped" notice for Phantom Brave or Burnout 3.

So basically, playstation.com must use a distribution network to ship these games out (they don't personally warehouse them, they just use retailers that carry there product as distribution centers (they give the retailer a better wholesale discount for them warehousing the product).)

So, that would explain all the Sourced comments, but I'd expect all the games to ship eventually.

Hey i got a REAL question here one of my friends said this but i think they are wrong. if three days pass SOny must honor the prices if they do not cancell the orders. even if its a price mistake they had 3 days to fix it and by not fixxing it they are forming a contract to fill your orders.
since they had 3 days to fix the prices and cancelll the orders that were wrong. BY doing nothing they agree with the price of the orders that went in..... they said this is a well known law but few people use it

Im starting to doubt this as well more and more, i mean come on its been 3 working days and the things are still processing. it says shipment 3 days but the catch is it dont say how long handling is but sadly i think everything is going to time out at 30 days and all get it done. Read my post from last night.. they don't purchase the product from the 3rd parties.. they use a distribution network. Many of our stores use a DC network setup for certain parts. They don't have to purchase the games, simply have the DC ship the game to you and reimburse the DC for their cost of the game.

go to the game. At the bottom they list a bunch of retailers. If there's a "Buy from Playstation.com" link, or something like that, click it. It should add the game to your cart and show the price.

If the link isn't there I guess it's dead.

You've completely missed the point. The point is Playstation.com screwed up their prices, and are unwilling to admit that to it's customers. They're saying the orders are back-ordered, or "delayed indefinitely", when they simply could say "Hey guys, we messed up, we have to cancel all of your orders".

I'm a member of GAP, a supporter of Playstation, and a very vocal gamer, and this is just not acceptable. I don't normally buy from their website, but I can guarantee you I never will now because I can't know wether they're going to pull some shit on me.

QUesiton is how many will really use it, I know for a fact that i wont. By the time you add in shipping and tax the price will be the same from buying it at the store using the BB coupon. Nice job sony for admitting it was your mistake, sadly almost a week later. Anyone know if you can combine the coupons cause i Got one i will never use

I'm still annoyed at Sony for lying about it. Like the earlier e-mail they sent out saying they hadn't heard back from the warehouse/suppliers. I guess that was a lie and they weren't sure if they were going to cancel the orders or not so they sent out that e-mail to let us think they are still working on the order.

I just got the e-mail as well, though when I check my order status they're still shown as being backordered.
