I'm looking for a Solid State Drive (SSD) for my computer. I would like 32BG because I plan on installing Vista and then most of my programs. I'll use my harddrive for games and media.
Looking for a good deal.

Cheapest i've ever seen was a patriot drive for around $100.

No such thing at $50 or less. $100 or less is a different story

This seems to be the cheapest 32gb SSD on newegg.

Damn, I was hoping this was a deal and not a request. Would love to fit something like this to load Windows off of.
Oh well, the prices are continually dropping so sooner or later, we'll hit that magic marker.

I'm thinking a couple more months. I see the performance differences and it amazes me. Right now I'm in between PCI-e or SATA...

$50 isn't gonna happen right now. Especially not for any drive that's at all worthwhile. A lot of the cheaper SSDs out there right now have issues with stuttering because of the cheaper Jmicron controller they use. Anandtech has a really great article (http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=3531) on SSDs you might want to check out before you buy anything. Its a long read, but it explains a lot about SSDs and the problems with the cheaper drives. If you don't feel like reading that much, this article (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/ssd-jmicron-jmf602,7057.html) is much shorter and to the point.
