I say do it man! That is a great price for the game. Now, your backlog might be huge enough to outlast this deal where you can catch up with another sale or universal price drop for LBP. But if it;s not the case, I'd bite...that is, if I didn't already have it! Besides, the game alone is well worth it...tack on the many great and free user DLC...it's a no-brainer.

Thanks. I got it at launch, but I've been wanting to get it cheap for a friend of mine. Amazon has been fluctuating between $36.99 and $40.99 (shifting back and forth between the 2 price points every few hours or so) for at least the past several days, and I almost bit at $36.99 (less ECA discount), but decided to wait for it to show in my quick picks. This is even better. $26.98 after ECA.

I just checked the Amazon trade-in, and it is currently $23.25. Almost tempted to get 4 for $108 (one at a time using ECA), then trade for $92.50 + $75 bonus towards a system, but I think I will pass.

Edit: I tried adding another one to my cart after purchasing the first, but it wouldn't let me check out with a second. Could probably clear my cache and try again, but I didn't really want another copy, I was just trying to get to the final checkout page to add another ECA coupon for later.

LBP was a excellent game idea saddled with mediocre game control. However, it still ended up an above average game for me because it was very original. I liked it, but would definitely suggest playing Uncharted first. For me, Uncharted is the very best* game that I've played on my PS3. It is just a very good game that I cannot recommend enough.**

* Note: I have yet to play my copy of MGS4 or buy Killzone 2. My opinion subject to change after playing either of these titles.

drake's lack of multilayer puts it below the first 2 games imo. i can say that drake's 2 looks to be the goat exclusive ps3 title, but i think gow 3 is going to be the penultimate of announced titles.
