i thought it was to come out Spring in japan and Sept/oct here

It hasn't even been officially announced (pics, video) for Japan yet. We got a long wait.

9 is out in Japan next month, I think they're just going to ride that train for a while. With FF13 supposedly hitting 2009 in Japan, their portfolio for this fiscal year is really unbalanced. They are going to want to delay nearly everything else into after March 2010 minimum to lessen the year over year drop.

DQ 5 early spring 2008
DQ 6 Winter 2009/ early spring 2010
guess that part 6 date really missed

I never heard of any date ever mentioned for 6's release.

thought it mostly took a year or so after they come out in japan to make it over here... since its not even released in japan yet , i doubt it would be here in spring of 2010

DQ6 is hella huge, and the original game cost $100 when it came out! I always expected it would take awhile for them to announce it, but I've not a rush. I eagerly await DQ9 anyway.

I just got 4th for $20-ish. Will get 5th when it drop down $20. Looking forward 6th and 9th :)
