Supposedly Futureshop in Canada is doing a giant gamesale. So I was wondering if its possible to go to my local (U.S.) Bestbuy, target, walmart or w/e and ask them to pricematch the Canadian Futureshop store.

Probably not. Usually stores only match local competitors. For example, here's the policy from Best Buy's site (http://www.bestbuy.com/olspage.jsp?id=cat12098&entryURLType=&categoryId=cat10011&type=page&entryURLID=&contentId=1118843518460):
If you are about to make a purchase and discover a lower advertised price offered by a local retail competitor on the same available brand and model, let us know and we'll match that price on the spot.

I would expect it not to work, unless the physical FutureShop store was close enough to wherever you were going to go to shop at that the store would consider FutureShop a local competitor.
I'd rate it at snowball's chance in Hell.

It won't work for BestBuy, if you look close at their return and I believe their Price Match policies it says they must be done in the COUNTRY of original purchase.
The Canadian prices are going to be higher than US prices anyway wouldn't they?
