The first Star Ocean just had a price drop, and it's a decent series. They never released this one outside of Japan initially, so it's a remake of an old game, but a game that pretty much no American played.

And if you can find it, Crimson Gem Saga is a good'un. It just came out though, so it's obviously gonna be a bit tough to find.

I actually found the 2nd one cheaper than the 1st... for 24 used, and swapped out my freebie from the weekend, b2g1 at GS.

I was initially going to do that with my $10 off coupon from the last Amazon trade-in promo, but didn't really have anything else I wanted to toss in for FSSS, and unfortunately I didn't have Prime (anyone is free to invite me to theirs though :-P)

A complete copy from GS for $12.60 + tax isn't too shabby though. Now I just wish SE would drop a few other games they released (looking at you, Valkyrie Profile, FF1 & 2)

They need to redo their whole system. I think used games with no artwork and stuff should be cheaper. It isn't that hard to keep you manuals and cover art in good order.

To be perfectly honest, I likely wouldn't spend more than five minutes on any of the named games on your list other than Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I'm sure there is a PSN game or two that might interest me though (like Echochrome).

My problem with the PSP was it just seemed like it wants to be a portable PS2. I guess that's good for some people, but I like that my DS offers a different style of gaming. I dont have a bus commute anymore so I actually play my DS the most in my house. If the game was exactly the same as my home console, I'd just play it on the big screen. But at least with the DS the controls are different so it makes it so I feel merit in playing the DS at home.

I haven't been that persuaded by the PSP just yet. But I'm such a KH freak that I'm gonna buy a PSP just for that (thank you Amazon Trade-In deal).

To me, it's' not the type of game, it's the game itself that's only on PSP. You can't find these games anywhere else. I personally would not want to miss out on Final Fantasy Agito, Persona, Dissidia FF, Resident Evil PSP, Parasite Eve PSP, Gran Turismo PSP, Silent Hill Shattered Memories (don't own Wii don't want it on PS2), Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, PSN games. And enjoy playing PS1 on PS3 and then continuing on PSP.
