So.... about those games. =)
Not bad for 10 bucks, but not something I'm going to burn dollars on.

For what it's worth, DotD was indeed Spongebob Squarepants when I checked around 11.45pm PST for some weird reason, reverted back to yesterday's deal (some PC lighthouse game), and then now is the 2 game bundle.
Yeah, I saw the Spongebob one, too. They do some weird voodoo over there at Amazon. ;)

Like a year ago I was at goodwill looking at Guitar Hero for the Wii and this Kid saw 6 copies of All Pro Football 2K8 (PS3) for $10 each. He called his mom on his cell phone so she could get some money out of the ATM and bring it to him. He was raving about how he was going to sell it on e-bay and make tons of cash. I felt sorry for the mom because it was obvious it was her money and he didn't know what he was talking about. Both these game sucks. $5 each is way over priced, once you play it, you'll feel like crap.

Sorry, but you have no clue what you're talking about. Both games are quite solid. Another CAG needs to learn the difference games that are not good and games they don't like. Anyway, for $10, this is a great deal.

I have both of these games and for 5 bucks each you can't go wrong, provided you like sports games. Homecourt is a very polished and well put together game. APF is cool if you like putting together legnds teams and enjoyed the gameplay of the old NFL 2K games. Graphics are sub-par, but it plays very similar to the last 2k5 football game.
The best way to look at it is to buy the supremely great NBA Street for 10 bucks and get the not bad All Pro for FREE!

You felt sorry for the mom but not sorry enough to take one second to tell them that this plan was ill-advised? Talk about Goodwill. :D

If the achievements are kinda easy to get, this might be very tempting...

The NBA Street Homecourt achievements are VERY EASY to get.

I think I might bite on this... I loved the original NBA street but for whatever reason I never played any of the sequels even though they all seemed great and are all at rock bottom prices. This one got decent reviews if I recall so it should be worth a shot. Don't care much for All-Pro but you can't beat the price.

Damn just last week I was itching to get this NBA Street game. Hmm....good deal, thanks OP!

Yeah, the achievements in Homecourt a pretty damn easy. I think the ones in All Pro are, too, but they are a bit more time consuming.

I'm such an achievement whore that I'm honestly considering buying these games for that reason only. I need to beef up my score, since I've only had my 360 for a couple months now.
Maybe if they were selling that "Avatar: The Last Airbender" game for $5 as well...

Why did they stop making NBA Street? I remember the insane reviews the first two got back in the day.
All Pro is a very solid game, especially for $5.

Decent games, but I know I probably wouldn't play them if I bought them anyway due to my backlog... I'll pass.

Dang, bought the bundle at the regular price of $14.98 and they are still sitting unplayed. Oh well.
I got it because I heard the games were ok to good and I didn't have any Football or Basketball games on the 360 yet and $7.50 each new was hard to beat.
Well, $5 each is a no brainer if you like sports games at all.

$8.98 with ECA, so why not. I just looked up Homecourt, looks fun.. I had APF2k8 before, and thought it was absolutely terrible; but it's still cheaper to buy both, than to just buy Homecourt.

Unfortunately Homecourt didn't light the world on fire in terms of sales like the first three. It is the best of the series by far though and one of the most addictive games on the market.

Tempted for Homecourt - how's APF? I loved 2K5 back on the Xbox, but isn't APF supposed to be awful?

Not at all. It has a 75 on Metacritic. And a lot of the complaints are centered around the fact that it's a little too much like 2K5 (it feels dated) and the lack of a franchise mode. Overall, it's a solid game.

Normally, I wouldn't be angry at myself for spending $15 a few months ago on a new copy of Homecourt....
For those on the fence, I'd look at this as $10 for a high-quality current-gen arcade hoops game, with the non-NFL license pro football game thrown in. I have no idea where it falls on either side of 'perfectly average', but it's got to be worth $0.00 (applying my rationale), right?

I don't think they stopped making street, they just spread out the games. About every 3 years Id say they come out with a new one.

it's tempting at this price. i have some achievements in each from before that i wanted to finish, but never got around to beating due to trading.

Part of the latest NBA game licensing agreement was that EA and Midway would alternate years with their "arcade" basketball titles - Street and Ballers. With Midway gone, dunno how that affects the terms of that agreement.....
